I was hesitant to try this because of the price as well as I'm picky and was concerned about wasting money. I cook from scratch but due to a recent hospitalization, I'm not doing much cooking. This was so GOOD! The crust was flaky without being greasy and the egg filling was light and fluffy. A little more broccoli would have been nice but the flavors were balanced.
Delicious! Priced very fairly. I do not make think I could make for less. Great on a Sunday Brunch, served with bacon, sausage %26 fruit salad. I baked in oven but directions are also for microwave. Any leftovers are easily heated in microwave for quick grab %26 go breakfast. The quiche crust is not like your typical pie crust but is very good.
This quiche was delicious! The texture was light but filling. The crust doesn't add to the overall flavor, but it's pretty thin. So, all you taste is the delicious quiche. It was perfectly seasoned. Hubby and I got three meals out of the quiche by making one or two sides to go with. That means no cooking for two days for the win! This will be on regular rotation in our meal plan.
The Marketside Creamy Broccoli Cheddar Quiche is easy to prepare and looks appealing right out of the oven. The texture is fine, and it’s a quick option when you don’t have time to cook from scratch. That said, the flavor is disappointing. For something marketed as “creamy broccoli cheddar,” it doesn’t deliver the richness or bold taste you’d expect. The broccoli is mild, the cheddar doesn’t stand out, and overall it feels bland. At this price point, I’d expect more seasoning, fresher ingredients, or at least a stronger flavor profile. On the health side, it’s heavy on cheese and crust but light on vegetables. A more balanced recipe—less fat, more broccoli, maybe even whole‑grain crust—would make it feel like a better value and a smarter choice. Bottom line: it’s convenient and edible, but it needs an upgrade in flavor and nutrition to justify the cost.
I thought the size was kind of small for the price being that it was just broccoli eggs and cheese in a crust. It tasted OK but I was thinking that asparagus probably would’ve been a better choice than broccoli. Maybe with some onions it might’ve tasted better.I don’t think I’ll buy it again.
It is not inedible; however, I have definitely had better. This was okay. What really makes me angry though is, every quiche I've ever bought that's ready to bake, comes in a baking pan. All you got to do is take it out and put it in the oven. Not this one! This just has a piece of cardboard on the bottom. There is NO good reason for this, except Walmart wanted to make a few extra pennies on each quiche. I am actually pretty furious about it, and I will not buy it again. It's overpriced for what you get and the flavor is not good enough to go through the trouble, again.
The last two times I have bought this quiche, it has been clearly moldy. We used to get this a lot and it was fine but recently, something has clearly changed in quality control and I’m buying moldy quiche. I thought this was a one off, but to have now bought a second moldy quiche, will not be purchasing ever again.
I’ve loved Marketside Quiche for a few years. However the last few months things have changed. It’s a sub par product. The size is smaller, flatter. The taste, texture and smell is awful. Maybe it’s a cost cutting g procedure. I’m sad to say that I will not be purchasing it again . I relied on this twice a month. No more.
The crust was twice as thick as any quiche I have had before. The broccoli tasted old and flavorless. I wouldn’t have bought it if I hadn’t had it delivered! After trying to eat 1/2 of a small slice, the entire quiche went into the garbage! I usually buy quiche at ALDI…much better! I won’t buy this from Walmart again.
Had to throw away it was so bad. I was trying to figure out what made it so bad like...lack of seasoning? Did they forget salt? Was the brocolli bad? Couldn't figure it out, but highly do not recommend
