We order Marketplace Tomato Soup as our go-to for an American classic lunch - Grilled cheese with tomato soup. We add a little extra basil and Mrs Dash on the top and we're good to go. It's creamy (not too creamy though), thick, great flavor. It's our favorite tomato soup for the money. This double size (32 oz) is perfect for two people.
I really like this Tomato Bisque soup more than I thought I would. Its really good. I have my favorites of the Marketside deli soups but you can only eat so much and you need something else in between to switch things up. And this soup does that perfectly. It's very yummy and comforting.
This tomato soup is real food—not like the canned imitation soup. This will sound odd, but it's so real that I like adding ingredients to make it better for me. I love this soup; once I add real cream, a touch of sugar to cut the acid of the tomato, a hint of Velveeta, and butter, I feel like the soup is a starter kit. I love it. If you try this and are used to canned soup, you might want to add a few ingredients, as most of us are not used to real food flavors.
Very nice fresh taste, as opposed to canned. The cost is better than canned per volume. I definitely recommend this for a fast, easy and tasty meal... perfect with grilled cheese or toasted tuna salad sandwich.
We LOVE ❤️ this soup and eat it on its own and I also use it as a pasta sauce for Chicken Spaghetti which is delicious! 😋 It has the perfect amount of seasoning and is not acidic like many other similar soups.
This soup is "alright" but pales a bit in comparison to the TRADER JOE's brand of Creamy Tomato Bisque Soup. To jazz it up, I add a healthy dose of ETHIOPIAN BERBERE seasoning to it, along with a sliced hard cooked egg. It takes pretty good with Pita Chips
I love a good tomato bisque and was hoping the kids and husband would like this. It was fine, but more of a dipping sauce thickness and texture than a soup. It also is apparently good for a month, which means it isn't as fresh and I had thought since it was in the deli section. You could do worse and with melt style sandwiches kids did eat it but once they were out of sandwich they were done.
For the price, it is okay. I absolutely have tasted better. However, for the price, it is a great vibe. Especially if you want to feed a larger number of people with that price point
The container was busted open and package was swollen when I received it. It is within the expiration date and has no visible damage on any other part of package except for the plastic seal. So without knowing what happened I discarded the entire thing.
When I received this item there was mold growing on the top under the lid. Absolutely disgusting!! The people pulling these orders need to pay better attention. The mold is visible through the lid.
