This was a very delicious sandwich. However, I do not have a big appetite, and the whole sandwich was too much for one sitting for me. Also, I am not a big meat-eater. I should have stayed with the regular sandwich and not the extra meat sandwich. So in making your choice think about your eating habits. I had two lunches from this and it was very tasty. If I could not get the regular sandwich like this I would get the extra meat again.
I just loved this item ,the turkey was just delicious and combined with the cheddar, perfect together and the bread or hoagie was firm, perfectly cooked and is the topping on the cake(sandwich), would definitely recommend this item to anyone who would listen
The only thing that I don't like is that the cheese sometimes seems like it's gooey/watery on some of the sandwiches but it only seems to be the parts that stick out of the bread so I'm not sure what causes it. I like to use Miracle Whip from the fridge at home and then the mustard pack instead of using the included Mayo packet as I like that taste better and I'll sometimes add a little sprinkle of black pepper but usually have it with just the Miracle Whip %26 mustard. It can even be eaten plain as it has so much meat that I don't feel it needs anything extra! I DO wish they sold these in the full size version as well since I love this proportion of meat and cheese to bread!
While the bun was the length I anticipated and there was "sufficient" meat on the sandwich, it did not appear fresh to me. The bun was smashed which probably happened in handling, there were no extra items like lettuce and/or tomato to perk up the taste. I'm not exactly sure what I expected but this was not it. Hopefully, it was just the day or time that I purchased the sandwich that resulted in my problems.
this sandwich could have been great, but im thinking it may not of been fresh. it had a ton of meat and cheese, but the bread and the cheese were soggy. i've had marketside sandwiches before and ran into this problem one other time. i ordered this one online from walmart pickup, and i usually pick a fresher sandwich from the back of the fridge, so this one may have been a day or two old when i got it. advise these are generally great sandwiches, but when you pick one out...look at the side of the cheese, if it looks wet, pick a different one where the cheese looks fresh.
Upon opening the sealed wrapper, the Marketplace Turkey and Cheese Half Sub Sandwich, found the bread to be very soggy. Count that as Appearence, Texture, Quality, whichever, it was enough to make one qickly lose their appetite and toss it in the trashcan. The wrapped package itself could have been slightly damaged, allowing for condensation to seep inside the package. As for Taste, the Marketside Turkey %26 Cheese Half Sub Sandwich has been purchased previously and enjoyed, so the Taste is good.
sandwiches were squashed supposed to be extra turkey and cheddar cheese was more like soft american processed cheese it leaked out and smeared on packaging not cheddar and turkey was over processed and lacking flavor bread was soggy and stuck to cheese and meat making it impossible to add mayo and mustard all in all edible just not good
The bread was soggy on the edges. When I attempted to open the sandwich to apply the mayo, the bread stuck to the cheese and came off in pieces. The meat where it touched the cheese had a yellow stain. I could not eat it. I gave it to my dog before I wrote the review. I do not have any pictures.
the sandwhich was completely wrapped, yet the bread inside was wet. wet enough that i went to open the sandwhich to add the mayo and mustard, the bread gummed up and had to be scraped off the meat and cheese. not wanting to waste the whole sandwich, i put it on my bread and tried to eat it that way. it was still gross but my dogs enjoyed
The sandwich was very sloppily made. The top bun was way off center from the bottom bun and the meat was hanging all over the place. The worst thing was, the sandwich had gotten warm and the cheese was almost gooey. The worst sandwich I have gotten from Walmart.
