Love these. They are pencil thin yet super crunchy when sauteed / grilled quickly. Great with steak and have a great taste. (If you open the bag but don't cook them all, recommend storing them in your crisper drawer wrapped only in paper towels to last the longest.
I buy these all the time. I love how easy they are to prepare and get your veggie allotment for the day. They are of good quality and yummy. I will say that the last batch delivered were at the end of their freshness scale, so the people picking the products for delivery need to pay attention to the Best By dates. Just sayin!
I really like these. They're great for freezing and quick to cook and whip up as a great side dish or in a soup or salad. This old bachelor guy says the only better that I've had is at my club when on of the members brings in the fresh ones he picked alond his daily walks! TMI? TB! Oh yeah, melt butter on 'em, add mayo and lemon juice, and maybe a little salt...Hollandaise??
It woul be a five star experience if I didnt receive food that is ready to expire( also food that is past expiration). I have 2 days to use my "fresh asparagus" but I just picked it up today.. was planning on using it later on in the week
Was given two bags in my driveup order. Both were expired with OBVIOUS signs of rotting and disintegrating parts. One star also because the easiest way to tell if they are bad is the tips and they purposely make it very difficult to see that part with the bag design but this was obvious as you can see in the photo. Frustrated that I am either out the money or have to physically go into store and wait forever in line. This happens way too often with rotting items or expired in driveup but they shouldn't be on shelves.
I order these asparagus frequently w o incident. But w as very disappointed this time. I initially blamed the way my groceries were put in my vehicle with soup cans crushing them, but later realized, when I opend the bag, the asparagus smelled and all of the tops were total mush. the expiration date is tomorrow. It's a first and I did get a refund because they were inedible. I didn't realize I could add a picture, or that's what I would have done.
I picked these asparagus up 2 days ago in a Grocery pick-up and went to use them for dinner tonight. They are completely rotten.
Looked soggy and slimy when I opened package it smelled fishy. This is the third package in a row. I’ve had to throw away after the delivery shopper did my shopping.
Employee who shopped for my groceries gave me expired asparagus!!!! Disgusting and disappointed!! How are you going to give a bad item to customer II NEED A REFUND
I usually don't have a problem with this product that I order often. However, yesterday I received mushy, (supposedly fresh) asparagus. The expiration date was 6/18. I purchased it on 6/24. It was clearly expired and I could tell as soon as I took it out of the shopping bag. Personal shoppers need to be more cognizant of this, especially when it comes to fresh produce and fresh meat. Very disappointed. I'm out $8 bucks and had to throw it all out.
