We eat a lot of broccoli and we usually get it from Sam's Club. Several months ago I wasn't able to get it so I ordered from Walmart. This broccoli is a bit more expensive, but it lasts way longer. What we used to get from Sam's Club would go bad within a couple of days even though the expiration date was for later, I will continue buying my broccoli from Walmart.

Why didn't I see these sooner?

Anonymous April 30, 2026

I used to get the broc crowns not in the package. I would chop all the weight off of it and end up with the florets anyway. I never even looked at this area with these orange bags. Sometimes the bag would get condensation and it would mold before I could use it. This orange bag I don't know what they are doing to it but it stays fresh longer, it doesn't get moisture inside, I can just grab a few and put in a recipe and not have to dirty up a chopping board. I don't know what I was paying for the whole stalk to throw it away for.

Fresh Broccoli, live longer !

James November 14, 2025

Always fresh broccoli, Broccoli is great for good nutrition and health, very good for weight loss. I am 80, male. I lost 150%23 since last year, beat diabetes and feel like a million dollars. Ear fresh vegetables, Walmart canned peaches in juice, no SUGAR. Sugar kills.

WALMART PRODUCE Always a hit and miss, but when we hit, it's very good, and when it's a miss (rotten, bad quality), it's always refunded. I wish I could say that I always ask for my money back. Sometimes I get had because I don't feel like dealing with that evil AI answering service wasting far too much time.

check FIFO

ReviewBry May 30, 2026

these marketside options are a hit if you shop instore. Online pick up is not the greatest. This particular department at my local store doesnt follow FIFO ( first in, first out) and will get expired or next day expired options. When shopping in store, you will find the new in front and old in the back so just look at your expirations and you wont be disappointed. I buy these all the time!!!

Just say no!

AnaMarie March 26, 2026

Absolutely disgusting! I placed a pickup order and was given a 32oz bag with only 2 days to the ‘best buy’ date. It was totally obvious to the naked eye that the broccoli was moldy and yellowed. The second picture is all I was able to salvage from the 32 oz bag. Never again!

Totten produce delivered

Charlotte May 29, 2026

The shoppers are HORRIBLE at picking fresh vegetables for delivery. I don't have a car. If I did, This would have gone straight back. The second day after getting this, went to cook and the minute I opened the bag the foul odor started. Looked at the expiration date and it expired 3 days BEFORE I placed my order. This isn't the first time they've delivered rotten produce. Shame on you Walmart.

Brown Broccoli

SUNSHINE May 1, 2026

The broccoli is brown and inedible. I usually don’t get fruits and veggies delivered, but I was hoping to make dinner and utilize the broccoli. Also, it expires in a couple of days. I really wish the shoppers would look closely at expiration dates. You didn’t even have to look at the date, you could look at the broccoli and see that it’s disgusting.

Slimy

AJMorgan October 21, 2025

I haven’t a clue why I continue to buy vegetables or fruits at Walmart anymore because they are always bad. If I were to actually by from now on, it would only be in person so I can check the quality myself. Because when I have it delivered, it’s always bad. ALWAYS
