This is a regular purchase for me. I’m very picky about how I like my watermelon to taste. It’s gotta be dark red, can’t be soggy nor have a crunch like taking a bite of a pickle. The chucks are pretty think so I slice them 3x that can turn into 2-3 servings depending on how much you can’t stop eating them. This has become a regular purchase for delivery. They must have taught the shoppers what they should taste like at each stage. A little Tajin, not too much will over power the watermelon taste. Why even buy the watermelon if you’re just going to add aside of watermelon with her Tajin.
It's delicious WHEN THEY HAVE IN STOCK. i've ordered this numerous times, and it says it's in stock when added to my cart. only to find out it's's unavailable AFTER PLACING MY ORDER!!! This. Has happened numerous times!!! Other packaged watermelon says it's unavailable. That is understandable. PLEASE don't let me place my order and then say unavailable after I order it! Very disappointing.
I like the option of having precut fruit and this watermelon hits the spot for the most part. Of the few times I've tried it, the quality is overall consistent, it isn't the perfectly ripe watermelon I'd prefer but it is ripe and sweet enough to be worth the cost.
I love watermelon, but it usually comes in an inconvenient size for my office refrigerator. I know that it would be more economical to cut up my own whole watermelon and just bring in a bag of pieces, but finding the time for that is not easy. So, this is the next best thing. Occasionally, I get a piece that seems like it came from too close to the rind, but the vast majority of the pieces come from the middle of the melon where the flavor is best.
the last time I ordered these some were squishy but most were rubbery and nasty tasting un-edible I was so disappointed in the quality of the fresh fruit from Walmart... especially the Watermelon Chunks they are my Favorite fruit but when you order them and they are un-edible it really disappoints
it didn't taste fresh at all even though the date indicated it had like 2-3 days left. Kinda disappointed cuz i wanted to eat it throughout the week but its cool cuz it goes fast once u start eating it %26 everyone wants some. no one did. said it tasted bad. all of the bins i bought so i don't idk. i just wont try again
I absolutely love watermelon and buy it often, sometimes in whole watermelon and sometimes in chunks if I'm on the go. However, I usually don't buy them past the first week in September. I bought these on November 13 and ate them on the 14th. The taste was not sweet at all, not even a hint, and the texture was in two parts. It was either chewable, but the texture was off. Or I couldn’t even chew it. I ate a small portion of it and threw the rest away. That is the last time that I will buy watermelon past the first week in September.
im not sure what happened but why are you sending me old food and expire the next day. idont want thst. i want the freshest you have!! i cant come there and get things myself anymore cause I can't drive the scooter very well inside the store. i can't sit up that long. i appreciate that yall can come out here. i dont normally complain or say anything but i just don't hsve the money to replace all that expensive food. and.its not even that much im just trying to eat better and once yogurt gets wsrm and then cold again it.tastes horrible. i didnt usually return anything because people at the store mske you feel like.you.are doing.something.wrong and I csnt tske.it. i barely leave my house i have so much bad.anxiety.
The watermelon had gone bad the sell by date was June 11th. My order and delivery were on the 19th! It should have never been on the shelf and the shopper should pay attention to dates. I would like a refund. I took a picture of the label and threw it in the trash.
it's not the brand that was the problem. whoever shopped for the produce needs to pick the latest dates available. the watermelon was soured and I also had two salads that were bad. that's a waste of myoney and leaves me without healthy food for the week that I needed.
