Not sure whether I should review based on my first order, but this one was fine. The watermelon chunks were freshly cut, well chilled. I couldn’t have done better if I’d spent the time and effort myself. Besides, my refrigerator is too small to hold an entire watermelon. In the past, I have gotten such chunks from other stores which were not as fresh, and sitting in puddles of juice.
I purchase the market side pre-sliced seedless watermelon weekly from Walmart. The watermelon is perfectly ripe and juicy every time I receive my order! I know a lot of customers are disappointed with Walmarts produce, but I have had no issues with my many orders from them over the past couple of years. If I do get a bad batch (which is extremely rare) Walmart always quickly responds to my inquiries about my online purchase regarding the issue with the product I bought. They make sure that I receive a full refund online instantly. People need to stop being so critical and instead focus on how the company works on making things right when a very minor mistake occurs! In my case, Walmart has ALWAYS provided me with excellent customer support and I have consistently continued to order my weekly groceries from them because of their excellent customer service.
Everything was cut up an individual pieces for ease and it was very good not green definitely ripened and ready to eat without any fuss or must especially good for older people who don't have this stamina to do everything they used to do I'm having it all cut up and ready to eat the blessing for the elderly
usually always good you can see what your getting and how fresh. i like the fact you can open it grab a square and close it up to come back too. or just eat the whole thing watching a show. traveling isnt too bad. if you love watermelon this is an easy way to get it quick without having to cut it or take the risk of it being over ripe.
I am a single person so a whole watermelon is just too much for me. This is a cool way to have sweet watermelon with no excess. I just love it. Have to eat soon after you buy. You must understand that it lived it's life as a whole watermelon and now it is older and if you don't eat right away it will mold quickly. So plan on eating it when it is delivered.
I love watermelon so I buy this when I do a grocery order. Sadly, it's hit or miss. Sometimes the watermelon is fresh, sweet, and juicy. Other times, it's slimy, has a sour smell, or just too red and you know it's gone bad. When I do a grocery delivery, the watermelon is the first thing I check. There are times it looks like old watermelon chunks and fresh have been put together into one container, essentially ruining the taste of the fresh pieces. Yes, I'll keep buying this, but I know each time I do, I'm taking a gamble as to if it's going to be spoiled or not.
I was very disappointed in this product. It had not been cut or cut %26 refrigerated lately. It doesn't even seem like it had been cut/ stored the day before. It seemed like it was at least 2-3 days old. I'm trying the cut watermelon again to see if it was just a mistake. The products I get delivered are generally pretty good in quality.
I’ve been buying watermelon slices from there for quite some time and they were great. But the last few times I bought them they were either spoilt or expired. Please do something to fix this or stop selling them. It is a disappointment to my children to buy them and them not be able to eat them. I have to throw them out Because they smell so bad.
BAD! Very disappointed that the Walmart er-ripe watermelon in my bag for delivery. WHY?! No one would eat this mush, so there's no reason why any shopper would decide to include it in Neighborhood Market shopper opted to include this melon (it looks like its been on the shelf for DAYS). Gross!
I gave it a one because it was actually delivered. I mistakenly ate a piece and it tasted like vinegar. I looked at the expiration date which turned out to be the day after it was delivered. The watermelon slices were the biggest carton they had, so I paid $9 or $10 for it. I won't be ordering fruit from Walmart again.
