I have an issue with dehydration. Luckily Walmart provides fresh watermelon already cut. I started purchasing their fresh watermelon cuts from the moment they first offered them. I am so appreciative at how well Walmart takes care of the fruits and vegetables. Especially the watermelon because it’s freshly cut being someone that sometimes has dehydration issues. One of those packages of watermelon can be very important for me. The biggest thing is you get it year around! You don’t have to wait till summer comes.
oh please try and keep the watermelon in stock especially the cut up watermelon because I can't do a whole watermelon and I'm willing to pay a little bit extra money to have it cut up for me it's the convenience Walmart goes above and beyond the call to keep their shelves stopped so thank you Walmart you get 10,000 attaboys
Like any fruit, you need to purchase when in season and the item is of the desired consistency and texture. Ordering online for delivery is like flipping a coin. You really need to see prior to purchase. Having said that, I took a chance and ordered online. The melon was delicious and perfectly ripe! Very sweet and firm.
I always rinse my store-bought watermelon in a strainer and then put it in a glass bowl covered it last a lot longer because if you taste it beforehand it tastes like they've added some sort of chemical to make it last longer but the glass not plastic will make your vegetables and fruits last longer I would recommend this if you're in a hurry and can't cut up a fresh watermelon yourself
old. not fresh. like a watermelon broke and they took the rotten pieces and sealed them up to be delivered. do the shoppers intentionally pick the worst option, to be delivered.
I was excited to eat my pre-cut “Fresh Watermelon Chunks” after dinner. My order was just delivered and I opened the plastic container to find the saddest looking watermelon chunks EVER. “Fresh” they were not. The plastic container did not indicate when this watermelon had been packaged, but it tasted pretty bad. Walmart, I am not very happy about this. If I am going to spend $6 for “Fresh Cut Watermelon Chunks”, that's what I expect to receive. p.s. The photo below is the “best” chunk in the batch, and it was not good. The other chunks were even worse.
bought a bunch on the 24th. every container had a use by date of the 25th. by the end of the day on the 26th it all smelled like feet, and had to be chucked into the compost bin. Apparent the shoppers for curbside are trained to select from the "special" sections for items with a close expiration.
I suggest not buying any fresh packaged fruit or veggies for delivery. I received 2 products that expired on the same day as delivery and it didn't look very good to begin with. it is definitely my last time attempting delivery for it after several failed attempts.
The melon expires today the 21st I went to eat it and it was spoiled again. This is the third or fourth time I've had to complain about the watermelon. I guess I'll just have to stop buying it from you guys. I went ahead and ordered another one because I was gonna eat this one today and have the next one tomorrow and it doesn't look very good. I didn't even know it was a smaller one. I haven't tasted it yet but I'm afraid it's not gonna be any good either. I wish I could get my watermelon from you guys, but I guess I can't.
The container for the watermelon was all sticky and the lid on it was slightly opened and all the fruit inside looks it's slimy and doesn't look edible. It appears that maybe it was opened the container for the watermelon was all sticky and the lid on it was slightly opened and all the fruit inside looks it's slimy and doesn't look edible.
