Long, thin, green beans. I love these things! They are just like canned but fresh!! Versatile! I love them roasted with balsamic vinegar and herbs! Just buy them, you can’t go wrong! Well, yeah, you can, if you can’t cook! Just try it, you might surprise yourself!
I get these green beans for my dog…to give her firmer BM’s so her ____glands will squeeze themselves while going %232. She loves them! She gets 5-6 per day. This package will mostly last till she eats them all. Sometimes I do have to throw away some as they will get a bit slimy feeling.
The last 3 times that I have ordered Marketside fresh green beans from my local store, several have been slimy, and they have been at the end of their lifespan. I cleaned them all up and used what was usable, but I don't want to pay to throw away food.
The last two batches have been tough and dry! Did Walmart change suppliers?? If the next bag is the same, I will stop ordering these. I've been buying these beans for years. They're microwave-in-bag, easy to prepare, and have always been good, until now.
These fresh green beans were the worst I have ever seen. When I took them out of the Walmart bag they were swimming in a slime. I tried washing them well and putting them back in the refrigerator, hoping that would crisp them up to no avail. They were so limp I could not even snap them. I ended up throwing about 85% of them away. This is not the first time I’ve gotten bad green beans from Walmart. But I think I’ve learned my lesson. Save your money and get your fresh green beans elsewhere.
WASNT FRESH. I BROUGHT TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY THEY WERE SPOILED. THE LIQUID IN THE BAG WAS THICK N WHITE. THEN WALMART WANTED ME TO SPEND MONEY TO TAKE TO THE STORE WHEN I ORDERED ONLINE. AFTER THIS CYCLE, IM GONE HAVE TO LET WALMART GO AND GO BACK TO PUBLIX. BETTER QUALITY. MY LAST PURCHASED I LOST ALMOST $30. NAWL BOO..I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO RETURN AN ITEM[S] TO THE STORE WHEN THEY WERE DELIVERED..TEACH YOUR SHOPPERS HOW TO SHOP. BRINGING PPL SPOILED AND BEAT UP FOOD. WAT HAD I ASKED ONE OF MY KIDS TO RINSE THE BEANS AND COOKED THEM...THEN YALL WOULD HAVE A MAJOR LAWSUIT. THE ONLINE THING SUCKS! ON TABLET NOW BUT PIC IN PHONE IN ANOTHER ROOM. IMMA UPLOAD IF I REMEMBER TO
These were no good I had to toss them they were hard and mostly black from rotting. This is my biggest complaint with grocery pick up is fresh food is on its last leg most of the time but this product was garbage and should not have been placed in my cart at all. Walmart needs to stop treating pick up customers like an opportunity to sell unsellable goods.
My delivery order included a bag of slimy and mold covered green beans. It's very disappointing that produce that's so spoiled would even be in the store let alone used to fulfill an order. A little care in selecting our produce today would have been very appreciated.
I’m not going to waste my trying to get a refund. I have to drive back to return the junk product. I did a pick on Thursday and tried to prep these green beans on Saturday and opened the bag it was already slimy Goodness Walmart. Please retrain your produce department to rotate the vegetables or fruit OR have the pick up handler choose wisely. Walmart please take care of your employees so that they actually care for customers products. If you stop caring they’re going stop caring. .
It seems every pickup order, I’m always having to ask for a refund on something I’ve ordered from their “fresh produce”. I end up having to run back out and replace the item from another source, which is costing me time and gas money. How is Walmart even allowed to sell such poor quality produce?
