Excellent produce-fresh and clean-already halved and ready to cook. I love to rub them in olive oil and season with salt and pepper- and put oil sprayed parchment paper on a sheet pan- and add shredded parmesan -put the seasoned cut brussel sprouts on the parmesan -cut side down. roast in 350 degree over for about 35 -45 minutes until browned -they are always a big hit and a great side dish to any dinner.
These are delicious! We grilled them on our Blackstone with a little EVOO and salt and pepper. They were so good they didn't need anything else!! Fantastic!!
These brussel sprouts are advertised as prepped (cut in halves) and ready to cook. Several of the pieces are brown and starting to go bad. Now I’ll have to spend extra time picking and sorting through the brussel sprouts to address the bad pieces followed by discarding or cutting off the bad before I can cook it.
I had purchased brussels sprouts two weeks ago and quality was horrible but I have purchased them previously and they were fine so I thought well maybe it was just a fluke. I’ll try them again. Horrible horrible quality molding on the ends turning black on the insides just terrible so I thought I could salvage some of them, but I could not. I tried to eat them and I got this terrible taste which tasted like my old actually so quality control is definitely lacking at the Lewisburg Walmart. They were supposed to be washed and ready to eat. Oh no, not true.
Ordered a bag of "Brussel Sprout Halves" expecting neat, ready-to-roast hockey pucks of green goodness. Instead, I got the world's saddest confetti party: 60% loose leaves that exploded everywhere like a veggie piñata, plus a handful of actual halves hiding in there like rare Pokémon cards. After trimming the forest of floppy greens, I was left with a pathetic pile of "survivors" and enough discarded leaves to stuff a throw pillow. My air fryer looked like a salad tornado hit it. Absolute chaos in a bag—do NOT buy unless you enjoy free bonus compost!
I received the bag of brussel sprouts and the entire bag had brown rotten vegetables, I added photos to show proof, the expiration date is for January 21, 26 but clearly they were not kept in a cool enough place for them to have turned brown.
Also, they were poorly cut. Most of the bag was unusable. I was able to salvage one small serving's worth by soaking in salt water (makes the cabbage worms rise to the top and the dirt fall to the bottom), removing several holey, dried-out leaves, rinsing several more times, and re-trimming the remainders. Avoiding all of which is the whole reason for buying pre-cut in the first place! At least half didn't even get into the bath though. They were simply out of the question. Would never buy again.
These were disgusting! Not sure if the shopper didn’t check but out of 2 bags I was only able to use 1/4 of them. They were deceased bugs inside plus discolored. I guess it proves me right for not going to pick out my own produce. I wish I would’ve taken a picture but I was so frustrated I didn’t think about it until after the fact!
These brussels sprouts were said to be already cut/halved, washed and ready to cook. The bag contained many "ends" or hard part of the end of the sprouts; they were also very brown, dried out looking, which gave them an old appearance-- as if they had been cut way in advance of bagging. They looked very unappetizing and I threw out most of them. Would not purchase them again.
These were delivered to my house with an expiration date in two days, but they were already in horrible shape! I knew I was taking a chance by having them delivered, but I still expected reasonable quality.
