Look, I don't like Spicy nor Hot Foods, but for some reason I kept wanting to try these. I know I can handle a few Jalapeños foods, so I thought I could with this, too. I'm so glad I bought them! ..not only was I right, but they were good, too. I put the Cranberry Chicken Salad that Wal-Mart has on them when I ate them.. I loved it, and wanted more! They even have little pieces/chunks of Jalapeños on top; they kept falling off, but I picked them up and put them back onto the sandwich. I plan on buying them, again, one day.
I bought these bc I love bagels n cream cheese, but I always feel there's a flavor of some sort missing. I experiment with adding a dash of old bay or italian seasoning on top, but sometimes that is a little too much. When I found these, I was excited somebody got it right. A lot of people like spicy foods or at least the flavor of Jalapeno and cheese alongside one another.. My brother has tried them first %26 he said "Wow! You're really going to like these I think.'' So, I am sure they're good. Just the outward appearance in the plastic bag, they would make anyone hungry. They're nice to look at. Be prepared to slice them..since they're Bakery style. My brother eats cream cheese by the half-lb it seems, so I am hoping he actually tasted the bagel itself and not the spoon-full of Philadelphia he loads on..🐽❤️❤️. Like I said,I am sure they're good. I've had their Aciago bagels and liked those alot. I am glad they acded the Jalapeno to the mix. I love em. I cook with Jalapenos all the time.
of course after adding the cream cheese on there made this collectible you can also put butter and it taste just as great with a little spicy twist it's awesome give you such a little of excitement in the morning when you get ready from whatever your days facing
These bagels are so, so good. There is just enough jalapeno to make your taste buds take notice, but not too much. If you like just a little spice in your life, these bagels are for you. I will absolutely be buying them again and hiding them from my kids...
These bagels 🥯 are delicious! Right amount of seasoning with the jalapeños and cheese! A good size bagel and are very fresh! Lightly toasted! Ate with the Walmart Deli Chicken pecan and cranberry Salad another reviewer recommended and was so good and tasty 😋 They go quickly! Will buy again!
These are really good. Nice little kick from the jalapeño without being too much, and the cheddar actually adds good flavor instead of just being there. They toast up well and hold up for sandwiches or just with cream cheese. It is a good change from plain bagels and they actually feel worth grabbing again. I would definitely buy these again.
This is the only cheese and jalapeno bagel that I know of, so I recommend it based on that alone. That being said, the bagels seem to have a short shelf life. When they're available (which is rare given their popularity) the typically only have a few days listed before their expiration date. So, either you'll have to use them up within a couple of days or freeze them. I've frozen them, they take well to freezing, but tend to develop mold rather quickly once thawed. Frankly, they tend to be prone to mold anyhow if not used right away. The taste is ok. I wish the cheese and the jalapenos were in the batter as well instead of just on their exteriors. They need to have more cheese and jalapenos, period. Other than those few things, they're really quite good. Their popularity is proof of that.
I love these bagels and they are the only kind I get. They taste more fresh than the refrigerated ones. I wish there were more jalapeño on them or in them and had cheese on both sides of the bagels. I can't taste jalapeño on them. The cheese gets crispy though.
Though the best by date is 5 days out, these were almost rock hard. I was looking forward to a nice soft bagel. Toasting them softened them up. Barely any jalapeños and couldn't taste them. The bagels had an odd taste. I would get the jalapeño cheese bagels I like so much better from another grocer.
Hopefully the person who picked this item for the next customer looks at the used and best used by the date it it about to expire. I received this item on the day of if best used by the date of my purchase. These were stale. Not fresh. I was disappointed.
