Marketside Fresh Organic Bananas, Bunch receive a disappointing 2.4-star average rating from over 16,000 reviews. While a few customers appreciate the convenience of having organic bananas delivered, the overwhelming sentiment points towards significant issues with order fulfillment and product quality.
Given the overwhelmingly negative reviews, Marketside Fresh Organic Bananas, Bunch are not recommended for customers who prioritize receiving the correct quantity and quality of produce. This product might only suit those who are willing to accept the significant risk of receiving significantly fewer bananas than ordered or produce that is not in optimal condition.
Verified purchase reviews overwhelmingly reinforce the negative experiences. The consistent reports of receiving incorrect quantities of bananas (single bananas instead of bunches) and subpar quality (overripe, bruised) strongly suggest these issues are widespread and not isolated incidents. The lack of a system for specifying ripeness or receiving notifications about substitutions is a recurring theme among verified purchasers.
Marketside Fresh Organic Bananas are a bunch of ripe, organic bananas. Bananas are a popular fruit that are widely consumed for their sweet taste, nutritional value, and versatility in cooking and baking. This organic banana product is a convenient option for those seeking a healthy, fresh fruit option.
Banana prices can fluctuate seasonally, with lower prices typically found during the peak growing seasons. Consumers may also find periodic discounts or sales on organic banana products, especially when retailers are promoting fresh produce items. As a highly perishable fruit, it's important to purchase bananas with an appropriate ripeness level for your intended use and consume them within a few days for optimal freshness and quality.
While I am waiting for my shopper to do my shopping, the store is out of two items hamburger and can't remember the other one, but anyways can't this person or my application have an area where I can select that my shopper can make the best selection they can and be done with it
I always order bananas the same way, but there is confusion with how many bananas the pickers grab bc its always a crap shoot as to how many bananas I'll actually get. Sometimes, I get a bunch, sometimes I get a single banana. the organic banans come in a bunch with a wrapper around them, they need to be sold as 1 bunch, the non organic bananas are sold individually online. 🤦 I ordered 2 bunches of organic banans, I only got 2 individual bananas. I understand the confusion, atleast I was only charged for the two this time.
This happens a lot- I request 2 "bundles" of bananas- and only receive 2 bananas total. I don't get notified that they are out of organic banana bundles and instead go to single bananas- but even then- I was requesting 2 bundles not just 2 single bananas.
Bananas being delivered more than half ripe %26 bruised which is unacceptable. ***PLEASE OFFER A SPACE FOR NOTES WHILE ORDERING SO CUSTOMERS CAN REQUEST THE RIPENESS OF PRODUCE, I.E. - GREEN BANANAS.
I ordered 1 bunch and the shopper took all the other bananas out, left the organic sticker that wraps around the “bunch” twisted to a single banana and put that with my groceries. Granted, I didn't have to go in the store and was having it delivered but I have to go now!
I ordered this from Walmart in Salem OH,on March 20th, 2025. They sold me ONE banana, when clearly this photo shows its a BUNCH. If you're doing a pick-up order from here, you get little surprises like this once you get home %26 unpack. It's getting old. I'm tired of receiving dented cans as well. That is another ongoing issue this store clearly thinks is OK. I've complained about it in the past, and received a dry response email. it continues.
We have ordered these bunches of bananas for over a year. Each time it is a surprise how many we will get. They sell them by the bunch, and we'd like 4 bunches. So we order 4 bunches. We receive 4 BANANAS. So the next time, we'd like 4 bunches worth, we remember this issue, and order 24. Guess what- we received 24 BUNCHES. I can't make this up. I've called and spoken to the manager who says it's a training issue because of how non-organic bananas are sold, but the training issue continues on. The bananas themselves are great. Walmart's order-picking people need to do better. Don't come at me about ‘first world problems'. I know. But service like this stinks and is beyond frustrating week after week after week after...
I ordered 1 bunch of bananas and whom ever associate that works their that packed my order only gave me 1 single banana and that's not what I ordered. I ask associates to please pay attention to customers orders cause at the end of the day we're are the ones paying for this stuff. So please just get it right next time
the item is clearly labeled as a "bunch" of bananas and so we order 4 to make banana bread expecting 4 bunches of bananas as is described....we received 4 bananas thats it. what am i gonna do with 4 bananas? make pb and banana sandwiches? its ridiculous
I appreciate that my order arrived on time; however, I want to address a few concerns regarding the bananas. Unfortunately, the bananas were overripe and mushy, so I had to discard them. This is the first time I have experienced these issues, and I would appreciate your assistance in resolving them. Thank you for your attention to this matter. P.S. I discarded the bananas before submitting this review.
