I like potatoes any way that I can get them. I couldn't find the Yukon Gold Potatoes that I really like anywhere on the order screen. These potatoes are not Yukon Gold. There's a difference between these Gold Potatoes and the Yukon Gold Potatoes. Please tell your buyer to restock the Yukon Gold Potatoes.
these potatoes are always nice and fresh they look wonderful they can be a bit small but that just makes them all the sweeter I think The skin is tender to eat even raw if you like potatoes I highly recommend these and you can mash them You can bake them you can fry them and they're always very tasty!
These are nice round organic potatoes, but they are smaller unless you’re wanting to use them for baked potatoes I would go a different route. I’ve used these frying and soups and they are very tasty . They do tend last over about a week and a half to two weeks unless you forget about them .
Honestly, these are perishable with miniscule herbicide/insecticide exposure, so they’re going to have some past their due date times . That being said, I’ve bought a lot of organic produce at Walmart over the years and whenever I use delivery or pickup, the shopper doesn’t examine the potatoes well and I end up with a stinky bag containing a few rotting potatoes. Not every time, but more than half the time.
There was a completely ROTTEN potato in the bottom of the bag. There is no way the shopper could not have noticed, it literally smelled as soon as I grabbed the bag to put items away. I understand things happen, but please emphasize simply checking potatoes and onions for major damage. I salvaged what I could because they were for our dinner, but it was gross and just frustrating when a simple double check of the potato bag would have caught the issue.
The delivery was fine but the gold potatoes arrived so molded the bag was even wet and with a horrible foul smell. I would have appreciated if the shopper had noticed this before bagging the item. I also specifically requested for no substitutions and 2 items were replaced with some other undesired brand.
These are not Yukon Gold potatoes. They are basic yellow potatoes. There is a very noticeable difference. Not only are they huge like russets but their texture is less yummy. I’m very partial to the Yukon Gold. Please update the listing to show what we are actually buying. I miss the Yukon Gold. I haven’t seen them in a few months. Every time I order the gold I get these inferior but still okay potatoes.
Usually we love these potatoes and eat them regularly , but the potatoes in the bag that was delivered had turned green, which is a sign of improper storage and development of solanine—which can give you a pretty bad belly ache or worse! Because I would have had to peel off too large of a portion of the potato to avoid the solanine, I had to trash this bag.
I was brought rotten gold potatoes this last delivery. Normally the personal shopper looks to see that they pick the best sack of potatoes but clearly that was not the case this time. Potatoes are green/brown and are growing roots already. What a waste of money.
Bag of potatoes looked great at the top. Then I started smelling something bad and I searched high and low. To my surprise it was the potatoes. The ones at the bottom were completely rotten with a sour odor coming from the bag. I just ordered these on 6/27. Please double check the fruit and vegetables!
