Marketside Fresh Shredded Iceberg Lettuce, 16 oz Bag

I bought this item for Taco night and it worked well. I placed the remaining lettuce in a plastic container and it remained fresh for a week. Before I left it in the bag and within a couple of days the lettuce was brown. I was able to have multiple uses out of this one bag of shredded lettuce. It was a great buy that is now a staple in my fridge.

I love shredded lettuce for anything salads or sandwiches or tacos anything and it's very finally shred. The only thing I don't like about it is it's a thing that you have within a few days. It doesn't have a good shelf life. I will say that if you want something that if you're a single person, you might wanna buy a smaller package because it doesn't have a long shelf life that's the only thing I don't like about the shredded lettuce. I waste too much because I'm the only one that eats in my home and if I don't eat it within the next two or three days, it starts getting brown and mushy so unless you have a big family, I'm gonna have a night of tacos or a night of hamburgers or whatever then go ahead and buy the big bang but if you're a single person by yourself stick with a smaller portion, that way you don't have waste.

I bought a couple of these for an outdoor event that required cooking. I completely forgot about them and 5 days later pulled them out of the bottom of your cooler. they were not only still fresh looking, but crunchy and good in my roast beef sandwich. they were unopened.

you have to eat it quickly or you will have wasted your money. I usually keep it stored in a zip sealed bag once opened but I've found more often than not that this doesn't really help much. I eat salad all year but I may not want it every day once I but a bag. I'd like for it to last at least 3 days before spoiling. I think the actual head if lettuce lasts longer than the bagged.

items selected were not vacuum packed for the date they are to remain fresh. need to pick the tightest packed items. I only shop once a month. this is salad I count on for several days and i am going to have to hurry to eat so that I don't waste money

So disappointed when i was putting away my grocery pick up order. The shredded lettuce I received has already gone bad. It full of discolored lettuce with a pink hue such as when lettuce has already gone bad! Records indicate I picked up this order at 3:09 pm. I am writing this at 3:46 pm after a 30 min drive to get home! So diappointing that the shoppers don't pick out great produce for a customer and instead give them the rotten stuff!

The item I ordered was unavailable and was substituted. The substituted item of shredded lettuce was already brown and inedible! Hard to see but the entire contents of this bag is tan to brown already. Exp date says June 19th! I request a refund please.

the bag of lettuce was bad . expiration date may 22 is all soggy not edible I'm handicapped and need my order deliveries to my kitchen table but they try to set it on my porch. I have instructions to put in kitchen in my delivery order But they do not read English ?

When I received the in my order. It was already brown and pretty much useless. I wish I had kept it and brought it back , but I had no way to get there. I will not be purchasing produce again . The employees that pick this out need to be more aware of the date and look of the product. If they would not eat it don't bring it to me to get rid of!

My order kept getting delayed from 2-4 Saturday until I rescheduled for this morning at 7-9 then delayed again until almost 10:30 so I'm not sure if my shredded lettuce was out of the cooler for a little longer than it should've been but it was already rusty when I got it. I hope none of the rest of my refrigerator stuff is bad as well! I'm a produce manager at a small grocery store and I would have pulled this bag off the floor.
