Marketside Fresh Shredded Iceberg Lettuce, 8 oz Bag

I don't have teeth, so eating a regular salad is kind of difficult. With the shredded lettuce, it's easy to eat, either as a salad base or as part of topping for sandwiches, wraps, soft tacos, etc. It also cuts down on prep time unlike head lettuce, it seems to stay fresh longer. The only downside is, I wish the bags were the same weight as the salads.

i open it up one day, and the next day it was brown. it expired that day. That has happened with my sf blueberry muffins to. They expired the next day. If i am going to order food of any kind, and it expired that day or the next, I should get a discount on that food.

We ordered a bag of this on the 19th, and it was delivered to our fridge. I pulled it out on the 21st, seeing it myself for the first time, and found a sealed bag of brown, slimy lettuce shreds that was marked as expiring on the 27th. I tossed it out unopened.

its good dont get me wrong I just think the packaged shredded lettuce would stay fresher longer if they sold it in a resealable bag myself. If they did it that way and the salad mixes I would buy it more. Anymore I buy it all fresh in small amounts because it goes bad so fast. or buy it only what your going to use.

We used to love the shredded lettuce. It was so convenient. I’m not sure what changed, but the last THREE bags I’ve purchased went soggy and brown ONE DAY after opening it. A head of lettuce lasts many days. * the “best by” date was a week past when we opened it.

Is not so much the product , is the person choosing the item , I got a bag of shredded lettuce that obviously was not good any more , it was brown and slimy, clearly you can see that , I need it this item for today and obviously I threw it away . People that pick up your groceries should be more educated on how to choose the item that are being purchased, with this economy we can barely afford our groceries

The lettuce was brown and unusable. Thankfully, this was the first time I received a bad item but I was not able to finish my dinner because of it. Huge disappointment.

The person picking out produce needs to make sure lettuce at least looks fresh. My bag of shredded lettuce was brown %26 slimy. Had to be thrown away.

9 times out of -0 I am disappointed with the produce at Walmart. This lettuce especially. It is usually brown and never lasts to the “best by” date before I have to throw it out. I don’t know why I keep wasting my money other than convenience only. This picture was taken the same day I received it. It has a week left. Already rusting…

I received the shredded lettuce today it beginning to turn brown the l am very frustrated that who ever prepared my food order didn't bother to look at the quality of it I have experienced this problem with some food items and I will purchase them myself to make sure they are good quality because I no longer can trust the reliability of individuals preparing my food order
