There were about 4 clusters in the box with 3 extra legs. The clusters were about 3 inches wide filled with meat. I created my boil and once it came to a roiling boil I added the crabs, turned off the fire and let them soak for 18 mins. Perfect flavor and crab meat in each flavor.
These glass canisters are lovely! They are good quality for a set of 2 with bamboo lids, an inner plastic seal and an appealing design. I can't believe how difficult it was to find wide mouth glass canisters this size for under $50 . I searched Google and Amazon for days! I was grateful when I found this set of 2 at Walmart! Your hand fits comfortably inside the jars to reach anything at the bottom! They are convenient for daily and easy access to powders, electrolyte single serving packets, or snacks. I cut my hand on the plastic opening of a Metamucil fiber container trying to force my hand into the container for a scoop of powder while making my mom's morning Vitamin C, fiber and collagen drink! There wasn't enough thought behind meta mucil's design! I bought these for her Mother's Day gift and my mom is happy to have them! We appreciate plastic however we are upgrading some items to glass. This purchase was money spent intelligently!
I purchased two boxes of these crab to add to my Christmas Eve Gumbo l always cook for my grands. There were six of us in attendance and there was more than enough for everyone. We enjoyed it and my youngest granddaughter (19) exclaimed while eating “ these crab legs were so good. “. The he next day she called and asked if she could come over for more, and l knew the gumbo and grabs were a hit because she is my little finicky eater. O will be buying these again.
I always purchase these crab legs! Most of the times they are a great value and sometimes they’re mediocre. For the price, I am really not complaining, just stating facts! Also, sometimes more than not, they need to be cleaned really well before cooking them.
These were easy to prepare, had a fair taste and the legs were good sized and nicely meaty. Fairly easy to get to the meat with the help of crab tools and served with a garlicy butter sauce made for a good meal for me. The weight of the package provided 3 clusters, I ran them under cold water for a quick cleaning prior to baking them.
so my items got delay and it was frozen food so i dont know if it was been out allday or wat but it didnt look fresh n looked old or thawed so that was why it was on sale but it didnt look good
Did someone shake the box?!?! The item arrived severely broken and did not meet my expectations. I received four bases, but very few to none of the 'legs' were attached; the majority were broken pieces loose in the packaging. The components were baby mighty small, making the product a total waste of money.
The exterior cardboard packaging was undamaged but the plastic bag inside containing the crab was completely open on one side. Not opened on one side as if it had been sealed and torn. The plastic bag was completely open on one side as if it had never been sealed at all. All the crab was completely covered in freezer burn.
i opened the 2 lb box i bought to discover a cluster was broken and missing almost all of the legs only had a 1/4 of one leg ...terrible....i definately deserve a box that is complete this was supposed the highlight of mothers day :( ....make it right walmart
Taste and freshness were ok but these crab legs were the skinniest, saddest looking , hard to find any meat things I’ve ever experienced. You’re better off buying canned crab meat. Or look for fresh crab legs. At least you can look at them before you buy.
