Fresh and tasty fish

Sharon July 12, 2025

This was my first time purchasing this frozen snapper fish. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The smell was fresh and not fishy. When thawed, the fish pieces were nice and proportionally sized. I panned seared them, and they cooked up very well. I definitely will purchase again.

This red snapper was delicious! The texture of the fish was unbelievable, you would have never guessed that it was ever frozen! This was my first attempt at making snapper it could not have turned out better!!! I Broiled it after marinating in high quality EVOO %26 Lemon Juice for a couple hours before broiling (on high) the skin turned out perfect!! I used lemon zest, roasted garlic and pepper for seasoning! I will definitely be buying this again and again!

Fresh and tasty

Judy June 2, 2025

I didn't notice if they were farm raised, but I think not. They were not packed in salt water like so much of the seafood is these days. They are a mild flavorful fish, easy to cook.

only if you can't get fresh

SHAY August 13, 2025

There's only two pieces in the package; one pack I bought had two short but thick pieces. The other pack had two longer, flatter filets. The skin still had scales on it though. I would only purchase again if I really needed snapper with no fresh options.

Two Pieces - really?

Keke June 30, 2025

The fish cooked beautifully and tasted great. I was disappointed that there were only two pieces in the package - especially since these were portions. I don't know - I guess I thought I'd have enough to feed my little family of 3. Glad. I had some left-over chicken so all 3 of us could eat.

YUCKIE!!!

Anonymous March 2, 2026

WE LOVE ALL KINDS OF FISH, SO WE DECIDED TO TRY SNAPPER FOR THE FIRST TIME...BUT IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! FIRST OF ALL, YOU ONLY GET TWO SMALL FILETS IN THIS BAG, WITH NO BAKING INSTRUCTIONS OR OVEN TEMPERATURE!!! SECONDLY, WE DON'T MIND THE SMELL OF FISH, BUT THIS WAS STINKY WHILE BAKING!!! LASTLY, IT WAS VERY DENSE AND TOUGH TO EAT, MORE LIKE EATING A CHICKEN BREAST OR STEAK!!! OUR FIRST AND LAST SNAPPER EVER!!!

Waste of money!

Mom June 20, 2026

on the package, it says three servings per container so and one fillet is one serving so just doing math you would assumed that there would be three fillets of fish in the bag. However, there were only two pieces of a fillet in the bag, and the fillet was small in size like it was a filleted snapper cut into two pieces. This is robbery! Buyer beware

Only 2 servings not 3 as advertised

Cherie October 6, 2025

The snapper itself is very good. It is a nice thick and not overly watery filet. The packaging online however claims to have 3 servings but it is switched with now only being 2 servings.

Taste like the insides of a frozen fish stick

cadeedra April 6, 2026

So the texture is very dense, almost like cutting into a piece of steak, which is very offputting when you've had fresh snapper. There's only two pieces in the entire bag for such a steep price of almost $12. After the fish was cooked, it did not taste like snapper. It tasted like the frozen insides of a cheap fish stick that has been freezer burnt. I'm being very generous with this review when it comes to the taste, I couldn't even swallow the bite. I chewed in immediately had to spit it into my napkin. There's something odd with this fish lately. I have not had this experience before with this brand so the texture is very dense, almost like cutting into a piece of steak, which is very offputting when you've had fresh snapper. Do not purchase

Withney January 26, 2026

This was horrible… the texture was mushy and rubbery… it was brownish and it fell apart when as it cooked. I want a refund as it went straight in the trash.
