This cod far surpassed my expectations. I will definitely be buying it again. The texture, taste, quality, everything about it is outstanding. And the fact that each fillet is individually wrapped makes it easy to thaw only what is needed at the moment. This is a great product.

I don't usually write reviews for food items but the quality of this product exceeds a couple other cheaper ones I tried. I thought they would all be the same. I cut these fish fillets into bite sizes and batter fry them. The texture is superior to others I have tried. They don't fall apart or get mushy. Great taste.

THE MARKETSIDE FROZEN COD IS THE BEST IN FRESHNESS AND FLAVOR. I EAT IT EVERY WEEK. I USE 4 TBS OF LIGHT OLIVE OIL IN A SKILLET ON MEDIUM MEAT AFTER SEASONING WITH BAYS AND KINDERS HERB BUTTERY AND GARLIC POWDER. FLIP OVER ABOUT 6-9 MIN LATER, DEPENDING ON THICKNESS. SEASON AGAIN, ADDING 2 TBS PATS OF BUTTER; FINISH TO DONE. YUM!!!

I am surprised at the amount in the package, and size of the serving. It was so much that I couldn’t eat it all even though I found it seemed to have a lot of water in it. It did cook up fast! I’ll know next time that I’ll have to share the other piece with someone.

Love God, make a steam packet with spring onions, carrots butter, put it in aluminum foil packet punch a couple holes in it bake it. It’s really good.

A high quality cod. Each piece is already vacuum sealed in a reclosable bag. We can take out just what we need. I really appreciate that the cod is wild caught.

First few times I bought this, I was so pleased! Fish was good size and dense. THEN next two times i bought it, the fish were 2 very small "loins" and one bigger size. while cooking in a pan, they had added sooo much water to the fish i had to keep draining the water out because it was "boiling" and not searing at all. super disappointed

only 3 fillets in the bag - which i wouldnt mind if they hadnt been so different! 1 was large and fat, one was only like 2.5 oz and skinny and the 3rd was right in the middle - a big hasssle to cook each properly for the same meal. if i was single it wouldnt be too bad lol

What a ripoff. This is not 1lb (16oz) of fish. It’s only 12.45oz! Are they counting the plastic wrap and ice? That’s illegal. I’ll let the state’s weights and measures office know. $13.78 was expensive enough but $17.71/lb is ridiculous for Chinese fish.
