Marketside Grass-Fed Beef New York Strip Steak, 0.625 - 1.1 lb

First steak I could afford to buy in nearly a year. I don’t have enough for a ribeye but I really wanted to treat myself to a nice steak and this one was perfect. Patted it down with paper towels. Seasoned it with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Pan seared it in butter. It was a nice thick tender juicy steak. No regrets.

What really impressed me was the quality of the meat. You can tell that Market Side is committed to using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. The steak had a beautiful marbling that added to its tender and juicy texture. And the best part? It was incredibly affordable!

My daughter uses this for her 2 year old little boy . He has Menkes Disease and it is of the upmost importance that he not have anything other than good clean meats .. fruits … veggies . His health depends on it . So when I had to borrow one of the packs from her … I was very impressed with the quality and the taste was fantastic ! It is actually better than the ground round I have bought for years very happy with it !

This was my first time buying this cut, and I must say I was not disappointed. Beef is a little expensive, especially if you're on a fixed income, but this product was well worth the money. I will purchase it again for myself as a treat for an old retired guy.

These steaks are usually well marbled (making them tender) and thick cut the way they should be. I am, in general, impressed with the quality of these. I have ordered them many times. My one issue is that sometimes very large pieces of fat are left on the outside of the cut. They could have been trimmed a little better. I don't like paying for inedible fat chunks. Overall, they have a nice "beefy" flavor and I have always found them to be fresh. Prices have recently gone up but I will still buy them as they are generally a better price than at some other stores. They have been consistent in cut and flavor so I always know what I am getting. I think these would be marvelous on the grill.

Meat was tough %26 hard to chew … even after marinating overnight! Embarassed to serve such ‘poor’ quality beef. I noticed that two of my other guests hardly even touched the meat. They did eat the macaroni salad and the rice though. I feel I should be given my money back for this meat. It really ruined our dinner.🥴😩😟 Rebecca Thomas

It looked like it was good quality, weird, the way it varies sizes., i got .58 pounds.I was looking for a one pound steak, or at least .75. Quality seemed okay, but the taste was off. not bad, but just not good. a few chunks of grill, well, the infamous fairly tough. Now, if it was just a super good sale price, it would not be bad.

I bought this to treat myself after working outside today. I was looking forward to it. I cook it up in a cast iron skillet, medium rare. it was the most toughest piece of steak I've ever had. I was so disappointed, I tried a few different pieces of it. I couldn't even chew through it. very disappointed! especially how high the meat prices are! I threw it away. but I really wanted that steak!

it was too small of a cut. to fix that, allow the customer to choose between weights of cuts. color was fine with this one. flavor, cooked product, and presentation is on me. it's tough for someone else to pick your steak... too bad a butcher can't recommend for delivery.

This is one of the worst steaksI have ever tried to eat, I was soexcited because I had not had steak in a while so I splurged (for my budget) and was disgusted. I have never known a New York strip to be so tough. you live and you learn, please learn from my mistakes.
