Marketside Grass-Fed Ground Beef, 80% Lean/20% Fat, 1 lb

Been purchasing this grass fed, grass finished beef regularly for a couple of years now. Never got anything but goodness. Website says it's from western ranches here in the USA. No hormones or antibiotics ever. Man, what's not to like? The 80/20 makes a perfect juicy hamburger. It's a staple around here. I'm glad Walmart is carrying a product now with American beef, at a reasonable price. All that plus supporting our ranchers and the land. Love it! See Bobbie Parris and Grass Fed Beef video on YT!

I am disabled and so I do a lot of shopping via delivery service. It’s always difficult getting meat delivered because I’ve noticed that not everyone check the expiration dates. I feel much safer with this product simply because it’s so well packaged. It’s also so much easier on your fridge, which sounds silly, but can be a big help if you’re fighting a disability and don’t have the energy to chase the mess that can be left by store ground and packaged meats

I ordered Organic 93/7% organic ground beef. My replacement item was 85/15% organic ground beef. But the store was out of both (?). The driver selected this product (80/20%) on their own, which I would NEVER have ordered. I contacted the driver and told them not to get their own selected item. The driver bought it anyway. Very disappointed.

This is about a step or two step above the cheapest brands of ground beef they carry at Walmart with that said it's pretty good considering the price. Sometimes I question the texture which is why I do not buy anything cheaper than this one. I usually use it just to mixed with spaghetti sauce so normally I have it very well seasoned as well as my sauce so the taste is no different and it doesn't give off too much oil while browning either which I like.

I dislike how misleading this product is. it says it is 1lb of ground beef but it is a lot less. you can put it on a food scale and see it clearly isn't close.

I was raised on a farm with Grass fed Beef cattle, so obviously, that's what we ate. My mother needed to add water to the skillet when browning ground beef, due to it being very lean. There was very little fat! Whether I purchase 80/20 or 90/10 ground beef from Wal Mart, it is floating in grease when I brown it!! YUCK! I always need to rinse it in water to remove excess grease. Tastes ok but I feel there shouldn't be 1/2 cup or more of grease to drain.

If you've never tried this "beef", then please don't start now. This product was not even close to the consistency of fresh ground chuck (80/20). It was a big pile of watery mush while I attempted to hand patty into burgers. I asked my non-observant husband how the burgers cooked up and he said whatever this was grilled extremely differently than what I normally have. The texture was awful. It reminded me of the fake meat burgers served in school lunch rooms 30 years ago. Life is too short to eat something like this. I'll be more careful about choosing new items to try.

Gamey and leaves foul smell on hands. Has odd texture when cooked. Not worth the extra money. Would not recommend.

The fat in this beef has clear.y been added and came from an extruder. It's gross. You can tell by looking at the fat in the meat. The fat is comprised of perfect little cylindrical tubes. That aint natural!!

This was awful for me. There was more gristle than beef. Was very hard to eat, I kept having to spit out the inedible bits and then I just gave up and tossed the entire thing.
