Marketside Ground Bison, 1 lb

Walmart's ground bison is an excellent product equal to more expensive bison brands sold in standalone groceries. A seasonal product I wish was sold year-round in KY. More costly than ground beef, but healthier and allows for creative seasonings and recipes, pending your imagination and if you like to cook.Fast-cooking meat, can be easily microwaved in 1.5 minutes in a rush. Great as bison burger, too. Best in stews and corn chowder soups.

The ground bison is great for my diet. It's very lean and has good flavor. I use it instead of ground beef in all my recipes. The only problem is that it's not as available as it used to be. I can only get 1 or 2 pounds per month when I used to get it every week.

This stuff makes some really good hamburgers, less fatty and tasty. At first I was wary of trying this, thinking it would be tough or 'gamey' but it's neither of those things.If you're already getting the lower-fat hamburger, it's really very close in price to that - it's not weird, I promise. Now when you are cooking it, it does not make a lot of fat in the pan, you might want to add some olive oil just a little bit so it doesn't stick to your pan.I like it best in burgers and for the marinara for spaghetti.

This is our family's favorite taco meat. I like to combine it with a cup of lentils for a mire nutritious combo. Just wish it wasn't out of stock so often.

I know its pricey but not only do I eat bison but my pomeranian too. we have food allergies. i use to purchase bison at Sam's, but of course discontinued due to vender excuse. thank you walmart

Ground Bison is the best ground red meat next to Ground Venison. it is very lean taste great in every dish. and is good for you and your family. Much better you than ground beef.

Great tasting meat, healthier choice. Great value. Just wish it wasn't always out of stock. Need more than 1-2 a month. Have to buy elsewhere at a much higher price.

Not my expectations. I do buy Market side and I never have issues with the meat. I love Bison meat and was tough, fibery, no flavor and it almost seemed like everything was used in the product regardless of what part of the Bison should have been disccarded. I have paid more for other Bison elsewhere, but their Bison was fresh, never fibery. I bought three packages and haven't used one, but they were the same quality, so whatever the practice, it is done consistently. I prefer to pay more and get a better quality meat. I have dietary issues and need to have good quality meat and I know I have had better elsewhere when it comes to the bison. Wherever the Bison is coming from; Market Side needs to check things out.

Everything was wrong with my orders this month: not offering substitutes for unavailable products, then lowering my delivery price below the minimum, and then charging me for delivery four times in a row for the same order. Walmart did this two times in a row to my bank account. I'm not happy, I'm questioning if I want to use this service anymore

I usually purchase great range premium bison, but decided that this was less expensive so I would go this route. I bought several packs and I am very dissatisfied with the meat.
