I bought this out of curiosity. I had heard things about this kind of beef and thought it was a nice warm night out. I was gonna put the grill on my daughter and I were in the mood for cheeseburgers. I have got to say this was the best hamburger I had ever eaten whether it be from a restaurant or from home and it's not that I'm a good cook lol this beef was the perfect amount of fat so that it didn't flare up the grill and you know burn the outside before the inside was slightly done, it had its own flavor. I had forgot to put salt and pepper like I usually do when I put it on the grill I had forgotten that measure and didn't i bought this out of curiosity. Using regular hamburger, A definite must try
My mom got me into buying this wagyu. I have tried others and I always come back to this. She ruined me!! It's perfect! I never bite into anything weird and it's always tender. The Main issue is Walmart never keeping enough in stock so it's not always there when I shop.
We do not eat red meat very often, so when we do it's important that is healthy and tastes great. This Wagyu comes from Australia and we have been eating it for almost two years. It browns up beautifully and tastes amazing (even after frozen). It is a bit more expensive than other hamburger, but it fits our diet and due to not eating it often, it also works for our budget and we absolutely adore it.
These are the best tasting burgers I have ever had in my 68 years of life! Magnificent taste %26 leaves me feeling comfortably full. Plus, they are a real bargain considering how expensive groceries have become. Do the math. You will see what I mean! i think you should really try them once. If you are a meat lover like me. I don't believe you'll be disappointed!
Absolutely delicious! I rarely review. It has to either be really good, or really bad. We made five ~1/3 lb burgers with 2lbs. Wow! i usually put a bunch of seasoning in my burgers but decided to just put a sprinkle of onion powder and some accent. Best burgers I've ever made at home! So delicious. Juicy but not fatty. I thought they would shrink up a lot more (hence the initial huge patties) but they didn't! Absolutely will be buying this beef in the future. With the price of ground beef nowadays, this was comparable in price. Very happy!
This is the first time I tried wagyu beef and i was pleasantly surprised at how good the taste and quality was. I used it in homemade red beans and rice instead of using andouie sausage. I used wagyu and it was delicious. I happily looked forward and ate on it for 3 days. I usually use kobe beef (not knocking it) but I must say I prefer the waygu beef better. Give it a try. I very much enjoyed the texture and quality. It was worth the money spent.
If you're looking for a phenomenal burger, try this I was skeptical being a Walmart brand however this is a win it used to be better quality. I feel like sometimes depending on the package or the location you get better quality so look at the meat before you buy it and check the dates.
This produced the most flavorfully air fried hamburgers I've cooked in recent memory. Just be aware that the reason it's so flavorful is that it's loaded with fat. The Wagyu burgers I cooked produced what seemed like twice the grease of 80% ground chuck even though there's only a 5% increase in fat. That said the finished product was a hit with the family
I really don't understand Wagyu beef in generally since some of the best burgers are like a 80/20 blend of chuck. Though I found that this was a pretty good substitute the last time we needed to make burgers. Overall it was a bit fatty and havd to drain a ton of grease, but it was still cheaper option than 75% lean beef from other stores. Who knew Wal-mart could get it right.
Was absolutely delicious the first 2 times I bought it. Today I opened it to pat out hamburgers. It was barely marbled mostly fat...forever to pat out burgers which were barely pink. I dont know what happened. The meat was the best i ever had and nicely marblized. The extra fat gave it nice flavor. But nobody wants to eat a ball of fat!
