Omg these taste way better than I could have ever expected! Makes making meals so much more simple. They're so juicy and tastes like it's right off the grill
This chicken has been fantastic every time i've bought it. It's tender and has delicious seasoning. I buy it every week and just keep it on hand, chopped up, to make wraps, salads, tacos or for my kids' lunches. And it's only slightly more expensive than buying uncooked chicken breasts, so it's totally worth it.
These were a very pleasant surprise I just stumbled across this summer. The seasoning and char are lovely, and the cook is excellent, not overdone and still juicy, so you can eat it cold, right out of the pkg. Also, out of all the times I've had this, there are no bad pieces, no tendons or gristle, and none of that horrible wood breast that you sometimes find in cheaper cuts nowadays. Kind of an expensive way to eat meat, but perfect when you want to treat yourself to a meal without cooking.
I like it. I like the fact it is already prepared and refrigerated so you don't have eat it immediately. It is great for older or smaller one or two member family's it,s already cooked and prepared just add a quick side or two and you have a quick full meal.without having to buy more than you need and having to thaw and prepare it when you want it, I wish all their prepared foods in this brand Market Side were precooked most are seasoned and packaged in one or two portioned packages.
These usually have a pretty good shelf life. I like to keep them on hand if you don't feel like cooking anything crazy. Throw them in the microwave for 2 or 3 minutes put them on a nice Caesar salad. We've had them with sandwiches highly they are very versatile I highly recommend them.
I've purchased the grilled chicken numerous times. Each package contains four large thick, grilled chicken breasts soft and tender, mild flavors. Enough servings for four adults. This batch had a higher charcoal taste than usual. Once in a while the chicken can a little dry from being overcooked. I would continue to buy these.
I love this chicken. The only problem is they quit selling it at my store. Personally I think because you could never find it. The only way it could get it most of the time is to tell them to go to the back and get it. Please start selling it again at the 3721 E Thomas store.
The flavor is just like it came off of your own barbecue. This is actually real chicken that came off of a barbecue obviously. With reheating most any type of cooked meat, it's not going to be the same is pulling it fresh right off the barbecue. I can say that it is exactly like eating your leftover bbq chicken breast heated up the next day.
I find that pre-cooked chicken like this usually has a strange unpleasant taste, but that's not the case with this chicken. It tastes fresh and well-seasoned. I like to add a little garlic sea salt and a squeeze of lemon juice when I heat it up in the oven with some vegetables. Delicious by itself, but also great for pasta dishes, chicken sandwiches, and soups.
First of all when I received it I noted the use by date was 2-3 weeks ahead which I feel is weird for an item such as this. I heated them in the oven and didn't like the taste at all. Very strong and overpowering, I finished one and couldn't stand the thought of eating another, let alone buying these again. The taste itself just put me off and the chicken wasn't juicy but dry. Not worth it.
