Marketside Hickory Smoked Young Turkey, Fully Cooked, Gluten Free

well this is the first smoked turkey I have purchased. the price was more than fair. my turkey was delicious and moist the dark meat tasted just like a good ham but if your looking for a traditional turkey taste you wouldn't find it hear. as far as I am concerned my experience whith this product was perfect. is it expensive just check the price of others like this online. as long as I can get this it will be on my table for the holidays

Ordered this so my husband didn't have to worry about dealing with the smoker for so many hours! Let me tell you….it was DELICIOUS!! We will be ordering again for Christmas dinner and grabbing an extra to have on hand in the freezer! GET ONE FOR SURE!!

We could not find a smoked turkey in any local grocery stores. Online, they were outrageously and ridiculously overpriced. Then, we checked Walmart online - and we found one! And, it was affordable and delivered the next day. Wow! It was very delicious and the hit of our Christmas party. The leftover bones made a delicious bone broth. We hope Walmart has them available next year - we'll order one for sure. Maybe more than one.

I purchased this since I was hosting Thanksgiving this year and no one volunteered to bring a turkey. About 30 of us and everyone claims to not like turkey. It was funny that there was none left. Everyone was pleased and said I could bring it every year because I did good (bonus- it was precooked)!!!! Flavor was superb!! It sounds like I just inherited a new Turkey Tradition but I will need a bigger Turkey next year.

The turkey is great ... the price a lot less so! it's about the same price it was last year, so I guess that's something, but it basically costs about $20 more than just a few years ago. I'm having to sacrifice other items to get this family favorite.

I was really hopeful this would be good and my expectations were completely surpassed! This turkey was so juicy, so flavorful and this made meal prep an absolute breeze! All the leftovers were amazing. It's been a few weeks since I had some of this turkey and I'm still craving more!

Good size mine was just about 12 lbs. Instructions were easy. The only problem was removing the plastic truss deep holding the legs to body (maybe due to my arthritic hands and fingers). Taste was very mild hickory which I liked, turkey meat flavor and texture was excellent. Short heat oven time, great! Easy carving meat very moist and almost fall apart tender. Made my Thanksgiving dinner ! ~k One more item to be thankful for!

I was skeptical about buying this turkey when I volunteered to bring it to our family Thanksgiving dinner. It turned out great. Everyone liked it. It was flavorful and moist. I put chicken stock at the bottom of the roaster with a rack and the turkey on top and tinted it cause I was nervous about it getting dry. I basted it about 7 to 8 times to make sure that it was moist. I followed the reheating directions for it based on how many pounds and I tinted it until about the last 15 to 20 minutes of cooking.

I have purchased in the past and it was good. Followed the same instructions this year and was completely dissapointed. All the juice was in the bottom of the pan overflowing and the turkey was dry. For the cost of $50 it was very sad to see this turkey wasted.

Turkey was very dry, had a weird pink color, and the flavor was unappetizing. This was supposed to be our Thanksgiving main event, but, nobody took more than 3 bites. So disappointed! Sadly, it really put a damper on our meal. A total waste of $46.00.
