Marketside Honey Goat Cheese Log, 4 oz

Such a quality product- it tastes so much better than a lot most brand name cheeses, and costs so little!. I've seen similar sized goat milk logs that cost up to 6 times more than this one. We love it in our pasta dishes, salads, sauces… I can't think a single criticism.

One of my favorite go-to snacks!!! I have had this at parties with large charcuterie spreads, personal snacks and lunches, and even quick midnight snacks. Pairs well with so many things!! Love topping with either a raspberry jam or honey, and pairing with peppered meat! Also delicious inside of dates or crumbled on a salad!!!

I don't really like the taste of honey and I was looking for goat cheese with cranberry but I decided to try this and am pleasantly surprised. it has a nice sweetness that is not overpowering and I can't really taste the honey. I've been eating it on my avocado crackers. yummy!

This cheese is absolutely fabulous, but I sure wish that it was larger. I was shocked at how small it was. I guess sometimes you just have to spend the money to get what you want and you have to like it a lot. Easily done in one sitting. (Picture provided for comparison.)

This taste like true cheesecake in flavor its quite awesome! I love to spread a thin layer on a flower tortia wrap, roll it up and eat it with my coffee. Its long lasting in the fridge, I have even froze it when I got several this makes it crumble better for salads or mixing into nuts or fruit : )

The taste on this is amazing! I love to eat it with a little extra honey on top with some salt and pepper. Then I spread it on my favorite crackers! Even my 6 year old daughter loves this on her toast with a bit of cinnamon sugar. My husband likes it a little spicy so he adds honey and hot sauce. It's sweet yet a bit salty. It's always fresh. It would be great crumbled on a salad especially a pecan and cranberry, a cob salad and a poppyseed dressing salad! This goat cheese is so versatile!

I love goat cheese. adding honey to it, is like adding honey to plant yogurt. it creates a silkiness with that natural sweetness that is like eating a field of wildflowers. it adds just that little bit extra, that elevates whatever is on your fork, to practically perfection.

I liked both the texture and flavor of this product. The honey was present but not overwhelming and the cheese was soft and not dry -- it worked great as a spread on Ritz crackers. If it cost a bit less, I would definitely buy it frequently but seems a large price for a small container.

I absolutely love goat no products and that includes everything from raw milk, to the cheese %26 to the soap, etc Considering how much any and every other goat milk product cost these days it's not a bad price at all My complaint I have with this is the... The taste! The taste was, I don't know how to put it, I can't really describe it, but it just.. it didn't taste right. It didn't taste like honey at all, not even a aftertaste, before taste, nothing. AND It didn't taste like goat products SHOULD taste, at all. It was just a super strong, sour, almost like a chemical, metal type taste to it and I've had fresh goat cheese before and this was not it. I live on a farm for F's sake, and have raised and milked goats %26 even made goat cheese myself before in the past. I might consider trying the other cheese flavors to see if maybe it was just this one or even possibly going in store myself and buying it from a different store but as of right now I do not recommend buying this it's not that great even though it is cheap The texture was also not that bad on it, it was pretty normal consistency. It did crumble nicely.
