Marketside Iced Pumpkin Sliced Cake, 14.1 oz, 8 Count

Wow this cake is SO good! I have been thinking about it ever since having it, and yes I believe I ate most of it by myself! So moist and the cream cheese frosting is perfect. It was sold out when I looked for it the next time, so that tells you how good it is! I highly recommend.

'tis the pumpkin season! I was very surprised at how delicious these are. I confess, I butter it then microwave for about 7 seconds. I am gaining weight just thinking about it. if you are ordering it online (like I do) and you don't see it come up type in "Marketside Iced Pumpkin Sliced Cake - 8 count" and it will pop up!

*** TO WALMART - PLEASE PUT A LABEL SEAL OVER THE FRONT PLASTIC CONTAINER TO PROTECT IT. Walmart used to have a seal with the price and ingredients an other information covering the front of the lid to prevent others from opening or stealing a slice. All other brands use a protective label on theirs. Bring back the protect labels. 5 Stars. The best sliced cake IMO from Walmart. Good texture and taste however a bit on the small side for the value. *** CUSTOMERS - PLEASE CHECK THE CONTAIN PRIOR TO EATING OR INGESTING THIS CAKE. It needs to have a seal or label over the front to prevent harm/damage or food spoilage.

Great texture, nice and moist, icing was a little bit thick but it comes right off if you want less of it, in fact since I had this delivered, it suffered a little bit of jumble on the way to my house, but, I didn't care about that once I tasted it. Kept it in the fridge and munched on it a few days, great taste, definitely will buy again. A lot of the Marketside products are overall great.

I bought this delicious iced pumpkin cake for house guests and they couldn't say enough good things about it! Perfect pastry for breakfast or dessert!

This is absolutely delicious. Perfect pumpkin flavor. not a fake pippin spice flavor. Delicous. I love how the icing texture and stays on the bread. highly recommend!!!!

I love pumpkin spice and almost everything pumpkin. But this sliced cake was not great. it was dry and lacked that rich pumkin and spice flavor I love. i will not buy again.

Pros: - Taste was very flavorful, maybe a little overpowering for me but it definitely tasted like pumpkin spice - These are more than likely frozen on arrival and thawed in refrigeration so its moist when it arrives. Cons: - Taste was overpowering - Gave me the worst heartburn I have ever felt in my life, leading me to the bathroom If you want your breath, saliva, stomach acid, and bathroom to smell (or taste) like pumpkin spice this is definitely the cake for you. I don't know what they put in this but it was so unnatural my body immediately repelled it. Stay hydrated folks, you never know when you'll catch a stray from a random baked good.

The flavor of this is great, the cake is moist and not sickly sweet. The downside: cloves seem too coarsely ground, giving the cake a gritty texture. At least I HOPE that grit is clove and not foreign matter. It's off-putting enough that we threw out the remainder and would not buy this again.

The taste wasn't bad, but the cake was dry. The icing had a crunchy substance, like crushed oyster shells. I know this couldn't have been one of the ingredients. I had to scrape the icing off. Will not purchase again.
