The taste and quality is what sets these apart from other brands. These are hard to find however they make fantastic grilled ham and cheese or turkey and cheese sandwiches. FOOD TIP: Toast Ciabatta bread in over for 2-4 minutes on 250 Add roasted red peppers (warm them up in frying pan first) (Found in pickles section) Add ham or turkey, (Oscar Mayer) Add provolone or Swiss cheese (Great Value) Add your favorite mayo or brown mustard (If using no mustard or mayo, then add extra virgin olive oil to the bread when in oven) (if no oil, mayo or mustard, simply add Marinara sauce (great Value) (warm sauce up in pan first) Add sweet pickle chips to the sandwich. Pair it off with a side of Kosher pickles of your choice This is a sandwich that you will enjoy.
OK I love these. Bread is a special treat. I would not purchase these because I'm single and cannot eat that many, but I found they freeze very well if a ziplock. I will create a sandwich and toast it in the oven to get it all melty. So very good. One of the items I prefer from WalMart than any other store; have given up buying elsewhere. I also use these for garlic toasts when I cook Italian.
These are great as an alternative to making Italian bread. I melt a stick of butter and add garlic and Italian seasoning. Then cut the rolls in triangles and turn them face side up. Cover generously with the melted butter and broil about 6 inches below the flame in your oven. They take only about 3 minutes to toast up. The crispness is great and they're strong enough to hold up for dipping in your favorite sauce or soup.
What great bread! It is moist, chewy, with a very open crumb and great flavor. I love to bake artisan and rustic bread and I have yet to make ciabatta as good as this. Bagged in plastic bread bags it doesn't have the crisp crust of fresh baked bread -- but toasting or baking a few minutes in a hot oven crisps the crust and makes it taste it just came out of the oven.
I love to ise my toaster to prepare the crunchy bread, pour okive oil on top and sprinkle with Himalayan salt and pepper. I am diabetic and for some reason eating this meal seems to quench a thirst I didn't know I had It's very refreshing and very tasty
These are soooo good!!! I normally buy ciabatta rolls at Sam's Club, but needed to get some at Walmart one time and so bought these. They are different than the Sam's version, but just as good! I don't know which I like better. My whole family loves these. You should try toasting them. They are amazing if you toast them and put real butter on them. Heavenly!!! Makes the best toast ever -seriously. My husband didn't believe me until he tried it and then agreed. Or try toasting them and then put peanut butter and jelly on them. Omg so good. Trust me and try it
This bread is one of the best if it's kind but I don't like the fact that it doesn't tear correctly down the middle it's also kinda expensive 🫰 so I don't always purchase it and again toasted lightly and add olive oil or plant butter and there you go
Ciabatta rolls and ciabatta bread should have a lightly crisp exterior with a rich, flavorful interior that has larger holes. The inside should be like the fantasies of what an English muffins wants to be when it grows up. These ciabatta rolls have a soft exterior with a slightly gummy texture on the tongue. If you toast it, then it crisps up nicely and is quite tasty. But I should not HAVE to toast it for it to be flavorful. These are fine if you want to toast them for sandwiches or to go with your meal. But for eating without toasting is not something I would recommend.
I received this item in my delivery order today 4/18/26 with a best if used by date of 4/13/26!! Nearly a week past freshness date. Who doesn’t look at dates and why are they still on the shelf? That’s just careless and well lazy. What are the “freshness guaranteed “ standards.
The product when picked by somebody who has shopped for food products before is incredible The best sandwich bread you can find the texture %26 quality is old world like but let someone who has never food shopped pick your order and they won't know what " Day old" or borderline feels like and that is how I ended up with My old hard Ciabatta rolls that really should have been in the Food pantry box not retail...And because this happens so much the Anomaly is getting your order delivered with Zero problem the Norm is sadly what it is You'll end up with Rock Hard cantaloupe a bad watermelon and yes even Stale Ciabatta rolls . it's bad enough when you have to walk a heavy watermelon down to the Dumpster .I've had to give up on watermelon because of how many times they were just awful . I had no plans for not being able to order Ciabatta rolls anymore ..
