In the past, I have not purchased lamb chops because of the cost, but beef prices have risen so high I will not feel guilty about adding lamb to my menu every now and then. These were just great; thick cut, tender and not overly fat. The flavor was all I could expect and I had some great mint jelly to go with them. I will definitely splurge again.
These lamb chops could certainly stand up to those I’ve been served in fine steakhouses. Of course part of that is in the cooking. Dry rub with thyme, rosemary and mint. Bring to room temperature. Slow on Low heat and finish with a quick sear in a cast iron skillet in butter. Serve with parsley potatoes and root vegetables. A little ramekin of a good mint jelly for dipping. Delish!
Excellent choice. Chops are meaty, tender with great taste. My only wish would be that the vendor company also sold lamb shanks as I would purchase them in a heartbeat.
These Lamb chops are exceptional - in size, taste, tenderness and quality. I've made grilled chops Llamb Curry, Lamb Pullao and even boiled them with bouquet garni for a stock and treat and they are fantastic all the way. Great buy, great price, great size, great packing. Freeze very well and tender when you eat!!
I wanted to help My 10 year old granddaughter understand more about the Last Supper Jesus celebrated with His apostles so I ordered the foods served at a Jewish Seder or Passover meal for Holy Thursday. This lamb was absolutely delicious, so tender, and such a great value! The meat was flavorful, tender, and so tasty. We included it with the other traditional foods similar to the ones Jesus ate that special night. Thank you, Walmart for helping me make this Easter special.
Rather expensive but delicious, especially with mint jelly. Only improvement I have would to package 4 chops rather than 3.
I’ve bought these many times they’re excellent American lamb chops. Tender, mild but still flavorful I marinate them in olive oil, garlic, rosemary, Cavendar’s spice and grill to medium rare.
Rave reviews! true, this isn't The meatiest cut of lamb, but Deelicious anyway! Sharing pic of braized chops w/caramelized onions and Korean BBQ sauce. I'll try another cut and by the way in Charlotte this is at the North Tryon store only, it seems
These are amazing value and delicious. I freeze the three individually because they are thick and one is enough per meal. Very tasty when grilled with salt, pepper and rosemary but also just plain.
Very hard to remove from packaging not all the same size don't expect 1 each 2 very small size not inform if expecting for family to each get one
