Marketside Lamb Shank, Rosemary Garlic, 2.94 - 4.00 lb

I do not eat lamb in fact I really don't eat much meat at all. But I made this for my daughter. I sear it in avocado oil, put it in the oven and baked for two hours and 45 minutes and it was so tender. My daughter loved it, we will be purchasing this again

The lamb shanks are of excellent quality. Even when I have ordered different cuts of lamb in the past, I have been very pleased with the consistent standards of freshness maintained for customer satisfaction. The freshly seasoned Lamb Shanks are lightly marinated in rosemary and garlic. I added a little fresh thyme and cumin powder before roasting in my cast iron Dutch oven and served the succulent meat with a side of roasted Yukon potatoes, white onions bruschetta and baby arugula tossed in an herbal vinaigrette dressing.

We made a lamb stew. There is no need to season the lamb. I just put it in a big cast-iron pot with a whole bunch of vegetables, tomato sauce, peeled tomatoes, onions, carrots, etc. and let it cook for about three hours after that I took the meat off the bones. It lasted us all week!

These by far are delicious! Seasoned well that I didn't have to adjust anything. I threw these in a crockpot with a little bit of water and let the magic happen. They literally fall off the bone. I made my husband some gyros and he seriously enjoyed them. I will definitely get these again and you can't beat the price.!

Preseasoned solves the problem with choosing the right spices. I just drop them into a pan, with small potatoes, wrap in aluminum and cook on 350 for 3 hours. Then another 20 minutes on 400 degrees. Guaranteed success.

I buy these for us regularly, ready to cook up, excellent value! potatoes well with roasted or baked potatoes, I also cooked them for a hearty soup.

Kids loved it for Christmas dinner, first timers, would definitely do again on special occassion. Doggo loved the bones, careful as they do shatter,

I'd been searching for some lamb shanks and wanted some for Easter. I purchased this product based on some previous reviews and it did not disappoint. The shanks came pre-seasoned and ready to go. They came out tender and flavorful, not overly fatty or over seasoned. Would buy again.

Normally I buy this lamb and it is normally fresh and very good. However, this time it was spoiled rotten. Very odd and rare. However, I blame the store location and their grocery pick up shoppers and management for why the lamb was rotten in my most recent order. The meat wasn't past expiration date. Either the refrigerator was off where this meat was stored in the store at some point without the store and employees being aware of it or the shoppers neglected to keep my shopped order in the refrigerated area of the grocery pick up area inside for customer orders. Either way it was a major disappointment to get meat that smelled so bad that it made my stomach turn. The shoppers should have smelled it as I did when I took it out of the bag upon getting the groceries home. I didn't have time to deal with it that day however I reported this issue to customer service. Terrible. This lamb otherwise when fresh is good quality and delicious. Shame on the store management and the negligent shoppers for giving something so bad to a customer.

Ordered on the 22for home delivery. it was delivered same day. The expiration date on the lamb was the 20. They sold a lamb shanks two days after expired at full price. As a home delivery I do not have the opportunity to check the date. It was the responsibility of the manager of the meat department to oversee expired meat. It felt slimy and I tossed in garbage. Will not purchase fresh meat from your meat department again.
