Fresh potatoes not flakes. There's 2 or 3 squares of cheese, if you want single portions just break w/knife Also freeze well, thaw in fridge and don't pour the water off just stir, heat and consistency will return. After they've been heated through to melt cheese, delicious cold as potato salad. I buy them regularly.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! These mashed potatoes are absolutely amazing, one of the best things I've ever had. the taste couldn't be better. they are so easy to prepare. Just pop them in the oven and done. I wouldn't buy anything else as far as mashed potatoes. The only thing that I would consider on the downside is its not a very big container. you would definitely need two if you were feeding more than a family of 3, possibly 4, if that included children.
it was really good I did not know it will taste when it taste the flavor the texture everything about it and yes I will buy it again I did put my own little spin on it put more cheese on it and stuff and it was amazing I promise y'all I appreciate that.
Really good tasting loaded potatoes. Bacon pieces are a bit thick, but there is plenty of the “loaded” parts. No preparations and pops into oven, toaster oven, or air fryer. Only thing that would make it better is if the tray were microwave friendly instead of metal.
I tried the Marketside Loaded Mashed Potatoes recently. It was simple to make and came out of the oven looking great, with a nice golden top. The texture was creamy and it had a good balance of cheese, bacon, and seasoning without being too salty. It was enough to share between three people as a side, and everyone liked it. For something pre-made, it tasted pretty close to homemade. I'd get it again for an easy dinner or holiday side when I don't feel like mashing potatoes myself.
These taters have lots of cheese and bacon to cover the warmed up leftover mashed potato taste. We put them over the "twicebaked" frozen potato skins, which also helped them become pretty tasty. So, if you really need a quick side, these are not too bad and are madevfor you :o).
The mashed potatoes are delicious. Great when you're in a hurry. I took 1 star out because it's a bit too salty. The should reduce the salt a bit. Other than that, I love them. I often their regular mashed potatoes that are perfect and good for 3 people. I always have some leftover since there is only my husband and I, but my husband likes to reheat it in the microwave for lunch with a sandwich. Go figure!
I have had this product before and I really liked it, fresh and easy to heat. But this time, the date ran out the next day and was dry around the edges and top. I scrapued that off but was not as good as before. I think the grocery people don't look at the out of date, sometimes, but it really should not be delivered to customers at night with only one day left. I can't change that, maybe they will be more observent.
Tastes great, although a little salty. Also, the portion is no where near enough to “serve 3 people”. I'm unable to eat a lot, but even I finished this in pretty much one sitting. Also, there could be more cheese and green onions being that they were pretty much non existent, but the dish overall was tasty enough to make me order some more, now.
I will not buy these again. I bought these because I love loaded mashed potatoes, but these have absolutely no flavor. They have no business pricing these this high with how little you get and with how bland they taste. The Bob Evans mashed potatoes are gluten-free and they have a ton more flavor even just being the original ones. If you want more flavor, though, I recommend the green label which I believe is garlic.
