I had not had a good lobster bisque in years. I figured I'd give this one a try. It was really flavorful, plenty of it. I'll definitely buy it again. If I had to say anything about it, it could use more lobster and maybe a small amount more of the sherry (I think that's what's in it). Other than that, it was perfect.
its the closest soup to home which is NJ. Midwest seafood is never fresh.. frozen is not fresh. so its all i can get. as long as the delivery guy realizes its perishable and has to remain cold until delivered to prevent spoilage or food poison. you should insulate all cold/frozen products like other stores do
I usually purchase Panera Bread Lobster bisque or Trader Joe's. I didn't realize Walmart had its own brand. I was pleasantly surprised. I could get 2 for the price of 1, I purchased everywhere else. The taste is so good, and it even has bits of real lobster throughout the soup. I love to eat it as soup. I also love to cook with it. I added it to my shrimp alfredo sauce I make with my shrimp linguine, and it was on point. This Lobster bisque is a delicious, creamy, smooth soup that's bursting with the savory, butter flavor of lobster. It's a "mainstay" at our house now.
We Loved It!! There are only 2 things they could improve on. Not complaining, just suggesting! 1. The texture could improve by adding some more Lobster to the Soup. 2. The soup could improve by being thicker. It is too thin. We eat it for both lunch and dinner. We add a salad or sandwich to compliment it. The portion size is perfect and the taste is excellent!
My BFF introduced me to FANCY Walmart soups!! I really like almost all of them. But THIS one…. WOW! I’ve had lobster bisque at restaurants in my life but NEVER thought the quality would come close. But it DOES!! I HIGHLY recommend (also recommend purchasing more than one container!! Yum😋
I made the viral “Trader Joe’s” lobster pasta with Lobster Bisque as the sauce. Instead of Trader Joe’s I used Marketside and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. Leftovers were even gone the next day. Highly recommend Marketside as well. Price is just right and it’s delicious!
If I could give this soup 10 stars I would!! Omg!! The best lobster bisque I have ever eaten! It’s creamy with loads of flavor and the price is unbelievable!! I turned my brother and my mom on to it!! Please don’t change this recipe. It is perfect just the way it is!!
I know this sounds nuts. I was making pasta sauce and talking on the phone. I had shallots and garlic going in a pan and without looking reached in the fridge and grabbed what I thought was the marina sauce and dumped it in the pan. I looked down and knew "This is not right, now what? I grabbed the Krab, (the imitation crab) I use for salads, cut it up and threw it in the pan. Then my son walks in. He is a picky eater. He said it smells good what for diner. I looked down and said, "Drunk lobster Pasta". Ok, it looked a little like vodka sauce and what was I going to tell him. I messed up so eat this. Turns out it was great. I wished I had a little shrimp to add to it. Then I could call it Drunk Seafood Pasta. He actually asked for it 2 weeks later.
I purchased this lobster bisque before without a problem but this one made me extremely ill for almost a full day. It had a wierd taste, thinking it was full of pieces of lobster I was excited. Until I started coughing up pieces of something not lobster pieces followed by constant bouts of diarrhea.
I love lobster and I love cream soups. This should be good based on the ingredients, but it wasn't. It had zero lobster flavor, and the consistency was a little almost grainy. Very odd. Even with crackers, it was really not edible. I ended up eating very little of it before throwing it out. I would not buy again, and I don't recommend it.
