So moist. Has a super soft texture. It's a light lemony tasting cake. Not much coconut on top. Great with a cup of coffee in the morning. With a glass of milk at night.
This Louisiana Crunch Cake is always my "Go to cake" for any and all occasions. Have been enjoying it for years. It is totally delicious. You'll love it too!!!
This is a delicious cake. It is moist, has a lot of flavor and not too sweet. It's great for a breakfast treat and makes a great dinner dessert, especially with coffee.
cake good, a little crumbly there was no crunch of anything you could taste the lemon it was a fair price for a whole cake the container for the center takes up a lot of space for where the cake should be so there would be more cake at the center was not so large overall rating good
Cake has a good flavor, more noticeable is the texture. It sort of melts into a mush after biting, a very moist cake that is pretty sweet without any fluffy icing causing a sugar overdose. It's not my all time favorite pastry but it's easily one I would try again.
This is not Louisiana crunch cake. It was just a lemon cake. it is supposed to have a coconut pecan glaze.... and it does not... even though if you look through their description of this cake on the Walmart website.. it distinctly says that they're supposed to be a glazed icing on this cake.
This was a waste of my time and money . I was very shocked at the appearance and taste of this cake. It taste very chemically. Like a bad lemonish cough medicine. Everything i said it should taste like it was not. Had to make a quick box cake to replace this mess. Very ashamed of this
I was thinking this would taste like the Entenmann's Louisiana Crunch cake-wrong! To me, this is basically just a lemon bundt cake. I wouldn't mind so much except the lemon flavor is so STRONG and ARTIFICIAL. And that's the only flavor for THIS cake-which isn't a Crunch cake at all!
Louisiana crunch cake is vanilla base. With almond extract and coconut. When I ordered this cake yesterday. It did not say lemon base. Or I would not have purchased it. Because I am severe allergic to lemon. I started to eat it. And noticed the color and smell that it was lemon. I stop because I was having a reaction to it. I now have a sore throat. But I noticed today they have it advertised as lemon. So did someone else report it?
Description said lemon ‘crunch'. Absolutely no crunch to it. The top was gooey -expected, crunchy coconut topping . Only detected a few pieces of coconut in the piece that I tried. So disappointing I could not serve to guests. Returned.
