Marketside Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes, 16oz. Refrigerated Packaged Side Dish

This was disgusting and I spat it out as soon as I did my first taste of it. I love sweet potatoes and I love maple flavor, but this was the worst that I have ever come across. I've never had a sweet potato dish that I was gagging on as soon as I placed a small piece in my mouth. I had to spit it out immediately and nearly started throwing up it was that nasty.

I was really looking forward to trying these but wow what a huge disappointment. I love Walmart Brands but this…I would never try again. First off; it looks like straight up dog food coming out of a can. Secondly; there is absolutely no flavor what so ever other than dried out diced sweet potatoes. Theses a great sauce once it's all warmed up but not a bit of flavor to the sauce at all. Not even a salt taste, nothing. The potatoes are tender and nice but it looks disgusting, tastes terrible, and I was ashamed to have it on my table for my guests. And finally; no one even ate it because of the appearance. I wish I had trying one first so I could have added flavor and appall, but I opened them last to fix and it was to late with guests arriving. Will not recommend nor purchase again. Sorry Walmart!

I thought these were pretty good. They had a light maple flavor, and I doctored them up with marshmallows, then baked it all in the oven. The sweet potatoes were bite-size cubes. I was expecting larger pieces, but this was just fine. I would buy these again. Easy to prepare and a nice taste.

i have to have sweet potatoes help with my thyroid. i usually just get the cubed in bag fresh they were out so tried this, great taste fast side for dinner. will buy again

Almost acidic taste. Took one tiny piece and threw out the rest. So gross and doesn't taste at all like a sweet potato.

This product was terrible. No one in my family liked it. I had to trough it out. Nasty. Even the seal was broken open. Worse product ever!

Make sure to do it for the five minutes or even a little longer. Sadly, there was not much a flavor. I had hoped it'd be sweet, but it was so-so.

It had ALOT of pepper in it. I didnt expect lots of pepper with maple? It was too spicy and I couldnt eat it. So sad I was excited to try it.
