The grandkids loved these we made them on pep ridge farm slider buns. We filled a bag and away we went,to the beach and every outing day we had the bag of sandwiches traveled with us . Tossed the bag in the back row and they devoured them. We added the ham and cheese too!
I am usually not a big fan of prepackaged lunch meats as their taste and quantity are lacking all around. I have to say Walmart definitely provides a great prepackaged lunch meat for a great price. I ordered the oven roasted turkey and I have to say it got me to change my views on prepackaged lunch meats. hope all have a blessed day 🙏
We like Marketside Deli Turkey better than any national brand! You can tell it's not processed at all, just sliced. And there is the only complaint…it can be challenging to get slices unfold. The meat is so moist it falls apart! It is on our weekly subscription and what my husband eats almost daily for lunch.
I LOVE THIS DELI MARKETSIDE OVEN ROAST TURKEY MEAT BECAUSE IT HAS NO PRESERVATIVES IN IT AND YOU CAN TASTE THE TURKEY FLAVOR! IT HAS A GREAT TASTE AND THE PRICE IS A FAIR PRICE FOR A POUND OF THINLY SLICED MEAT. FOR THE MOST PART, EACH OF MY ORDERS HAVE BEEN FRESH BEYOND THE FRESHNESS DATE BY AT LEAST 2-3 WEEKS, SO I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ENJOY THE TURKEY IN MY "DAGWOOD TYPE" SANDWICHES FOR FOR LUNCH THE WHOLE MONTH! THAT'S MY FAVORITE WAY TO PREPARE THE TURKEY...I CAN MAKE AT LEAST 4-5 SANDWICHES DEPENDING ON HOW HIGH I PILE IT ON AND WHAT ELSE I USE TO ENHANCE MY MEAL. I LIKE THINLY SLICED MOZZORELLA CHEESE WITH SLICES OF AVACADO ON POTATO OR HAWAAIAN SANDWICH BREAD. IT FILLS ME UP AND THEN SOME...! I LIKE THE FACT THAT THE PACKAGE IS RESEALING AND YOU CAN REUSE IT TO STORE THINGS IN THE FRIG...YOU CAN USE IT IN SALADS, WRAPS AND IT'S GREAT TO ADD TO SCRAMBLED EGGS IN THE MORNING! THE LABELS PEEL OFF EASILY TO DISCARD IF YOU DESIRE TO USE THE CONTAINERS AS STORING CONTAINERS - THEY HOLD SURPRISINGLY A LOT OF FOOD, LIKE VEGGIES, COOKED MEATS, ETC. THEIR DEPTH IS 1 1/2 IN.
This deli meat is very good! The convenient package allows for easy refrigerator storage. The label is clearly marked and the container can be reused. The turkey is sliced at a perfect thickness. Layering the thin slices on a lunch sandwich makes early preparation very efficient. The ingredients and the care taken in processing give a relief when keeping healthy is a goal.
This is by far the best sliced turkey I've ever purchased. The flavor is excellent, the texture is perfect, with no hint of the sliminess you sometimes encounter with sandwich meat, and thin, lean slices. I can't say enough good things about it. I usually don't like this type of product, but will 100% buy this again.
I usually like sliced turkey from the deli at Bel Air, but I tried this and was perfectly happy with it. Not slimy and thin like other lunch meat. I always check the slices for chewy parts or gristle type parts and remove it. Sometimes there's more and other times less or none. I have bought this several times and it's a good kind.
The meat kinda falls apart, but that is because we're so used to overly processed deli meats being perfectly sliced! Good product, just different from thinly sliced deli meat.
I've purchased multiple times but recently the quality has gone down, smooth even thin slices and great flavor, real turkey textures. the last 3 times it has not been the same quality! Uneven slices that crumble like they have been frozen with a grainy texture. I wasn't even able to pull half a slice off of the clump let alone a whole slice!! I have stopped purchasing due to this on going issue.
I don't think I should have to wrestle a tangled mass of meat to extract a couple of slices for a sandwich. As sandwich meat, just no. Never again. Thinking of chopping it up with onions and potatoes for breakfast hash. But this is pretty expensive deli meat to have to resort to that.
