Marketside Organic Cage Free Large Brown Eggs, 12 Count

Tried these when on promo through Fetch, and I'm happy to report I've found a new brand of eggs to buy on the regular! Delicious, rich golden yolks. These cook at just the right speed 👌 do whatever you like with them! organic. brown. worth any premium on them. shells are plenty thick and crack with proper force.

Marketside Organic Cage-free Eggs are Walmart's store brand. These eggs provide organic eggs at a lower price. Although these eggs are not free range, they are budget friendly organic eggs. I appreciate that the shells are consistently clean. My only concern is that the yokes are a pale unhealthy yellow color. Sometimes the shells feel thin. I would prefer eggs from hens that spend their days outside forging in pastures. I am well aware that cage-free birds are just raised in a big factory without cages. These eggs are my budget friendly organic choice for now.

This is one product you can be sure it is healthy. They make a great addition to any breakfast or breakfast for supper; just add love and sausage or bacon and grits.

If used for cooking with, then they are okay. BUT for a cooked egg, cooked in any way, for some reason I cannot define, they lack a little in flavor. If i plan to use for just cooked eggs, I buy my favorite brand. But, overall, these are good for the price when using to cook or bake

I've been purchasing these often and like the product but this has never happened before. Grocery pickup and when I got home I found that there were only 10 eggs in the carton!

Walmart sources and re-labels the eggs from large wholesale egg producers and distributors, most notably Cal-Maine Foods. If I had known that I never would have bought them. Cal-Maine does not have a good reputation for the way they treat their hens. Cal-Maine Foods has stated that its facilities operate in full compliance with regulations. This means nothing to me as they had a choice of how to steward their livestock. Compliance with poorly written laws doesn't give them a pass and is nothing to be proud of. Supposedly they have cage-free, organic, and pasture-raised options alongside the conventional lines now, in response to shifting consumer sentiment. So, they are still doing it in some capacity, trying to straddle both sides of the fence. Battery cages prevent chickens from spreading their wings, nesting, perching, or engaging in natural behaviors. I raised chickens at one time and still would today if circumstances permitted. I would never have subjected my flock to such cruelty. So, although there is nothing to complain about regarding the quality of the eggs, I will not buy them anymore for ethical reasons. I have found an alternative locally that offers eggs from humanely raised birds. It's frustrating to think you are buying a certain brand only to find out you're actually supporting a company you'd never choose to do business with, all due to the deceptive practice of rebranding.

So aggravating buying eggs from Walmart anymore. You spend more money to get the better eggs and then you get them home and you crack them and they're watery which means they're old! I'm so done! I've actually seen associates checking eggs and if there's a cracked one, they'll pull another one out of another carton, which could be older than the one they were working with to replace the egg. IF I ever buy eggs there again, I will immediately take them home and put each one in a deep bowl of water and if it sinks it it's fresh if it floats, it is not.

These eggs were terrible. One was already cracked before I received it and the others were not at all fresh. The yolks looked rubbery and wrinkled. They were also very pale in color and didn't taste fresh. The packaging was also not easy to close or open.

I think the eggs are perfect but when the shopper shop for them and they put them in the vehicle they should keep the eggs separate everything in my order was perfect but my dozen organic eggs half a dozen will smashed and the driver I showed the driver so they know and it was not the driver's fault however if people have eggs whoever puts them in the vehicle or whoever shops for them should let them know that there are eggs in this order other than that I think the eggs are generally fantastic

The dozen delivered to me in this order had a pull date of the SAME DAY! So I tested each egg for freshness by putting in a bowl of water. EIGHT of the 12 stood on end. The last time I ordered this brand and tested them one of them literally POPPED OUT of the water it was so old! No thank you!
