I purchased this more expensive fresh organic broccoli a couple of times when the organic frozen option was not available. It's always been fresh, so according to many other reviewers, I've been lucky and/or I have great delivery shoppers. I'll try to stock up on the organic frozen. either choice, florets are a better value with no tough, inedible stems.
all of the fresh veggies are great either broccoli or cauliflower or a mixture. I cook them cool them and use within the next four days for healthy addition to soups or stews or alone maybe with a drizzle of low calorie dressing. They hold their color and fresh taste.
I DISLIKED THE FACT THESE Marketside Organic Fresh Broccoli Florets, 12 oz WERE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAPPEN AS I AM BOILING WATER FOR STEAMING THE "FLORETS"? I CUT THE BAG OPEN AND A NOT VERY APPETISING ODOUR HITS ME IN THE NOSE? I FEEL IT WOULD NOT BE FAIR TO TAKE THIS REVIEW ANY FURTHER AS I HAD TO TOSS IT IINTO THE TRASH.
Several peices looks brown and yellow. It's about to expire in 3 days. The downside of having others pick your food but really would have preferred just being told it was out of stock vs getting broccoli that I have to pick around to use and has to be used like instantly cause it's not going to hold up past a day
The last few bags of broccoli have been lacking. Both the regular and the organic broccoli florets have been of poor quality. Half of each floret is white on top! Very few are actually all green. My family won't eat them like that so it's a waste of money. Of the last 8 bags I have purchased, at least 3 of the bags had liquified vegetables in them. The date on the bag was still a few days away so I am not understanding how this keeps happening. The worst part is if I report it, rather than just submit photos, I am asked to return it to the store within 24 hours if I want any money back. Well considering I don't have a way to get it there, that's not a possibility for me. I pay delivery fees for what? Bad food. Im close to switching back to Meyers and using Instacart. It's a bit more expensive but my food is edible and the very returns I have had to initiate were granted without making me bring it back. Paying 14 dollars for round trip taxi to get back $2/3 dollars refund is not in my budget.
I placed an order on the morning of Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and picked it up at 4 PM. However, I didn't check the order while I was in the parking lot. When I got home, I noticed that the broccoli I had ordered was missing. Therefore, I did not receive it and would like a refund for that item.
regardless of it being organic, there was lots of black within it. probably had to toss out at least a third of it. what a waste of money. aggravated because I had to pay more for organic. and then when I steamed it. it had a odd ammonia type smell. I doubt I'll buy this again. I wish the shoppers would do better. I would have never picked this out. it wasn't even past expiration date and it still should have been pulled from the shelf. you could obviously see the yuck in it. I did not include photos because I obviously had to throw the trash out.
This brand of broccoli says it is washed and ready to eat but I always wash EVERYTHING! And I'm glad I do. There are WORMS IN WEBS inside these broccoli heads. You are Eating PARASITES! Walmart should really consider not using this company based out of California. Disgusting! Walmart please find another company to get your produce from!
I have been buying this broccoli for years. It was delicious. Now, every time I buy it I have to return it. It is yellow, not ripe and is already turning brown or does so very quickly. This has been going on for months. I will no longer buy this broccoli. You'd think with organic they would do better…
Picked up this item on the 28th… its expiration date was the 27th the day before so it should've never been put in my cart!!! I go to open it today. Everything‘s brown and rotting !!! I need to be refunded this amount immediately organic produce is not inexpensive and this is not the first time I've been given rotten produce, given rotten organic celery before .
