Is green beans are perhaps a little overpriced for the amount in this package, but I can always rely on them being fresh and nutritious without any pesticides. They look like they’re machine cut because a few of them still have stems. The convenience of having these pre-cut and pre-picked are worth it.
I like these organic hreen beans but i find rhat they expire rather quickly compared to other brands. I'm not sure if maybe there's more moisture in the bags to begin with that causes this issue. I just try to use them quickly. They are always good quality.
I don’t know if it’s store employees who pick the orders but they need to start looking at the vegetables and fruits to see if they are rotten before they put them in the customers order. It’s just getting worse.
Poor quality when I received this via delivery the bag was already showing the green beans as slimy. It would be nice if shoppers could be a little more careful with selecting vegetables especially.
These beans are usually good quality, but today I received slimy and mushy green beans with my delivery order. I noticed the packaging changed, so I hope this isn’t because they changed suppliers. You can see the thick, slimy residue in the unopened bag.
I really do appreciate the workers that pick our groceries when we do the online ordering, however, would it be too much to ask for them to look at expiration dates and best if used by dates before they placed them in our order or at least give us a heads up when it is short dated? If we can receive notifications for substitutions and out of stocks, I don’t see why this would be much different. You can’t expect everyone to cook everything they pick up on the same date that they pick it up. These green beans were dated the day BEFORE I picked it up. They just did not look good at all. There wasn’t even a majority that I felt like I could even salvage.
This was basically a bag of small pieces of beans. There were very few intact beans in the bag. Walmart should be ashamed to sell this bag of produce scraps. Quality is far far from what it was. I won't buy again.
I have purchased these three times with home delivery. When delivered, each time they are slimy all over and degrading or deteriorating in the bag. Simply put they’re rotting and o can’t use them. I won’t be buying them again.
Beans were well within the sell by date, but were already starting to go bad. They had little brown spots on them and some of the ends were starting to get mushy. This really isn't acceptable for organic produce, especially 2 weeks before the sell by date. The shoppers just pick up anything and throw it in the cart, never paying attention to the produce which is why the delivery customers end up with soooo much rotten produce.
Slimy garbage as always. This was substituted for snap peas. I never buy the green beans even though I had actually wanted them. I didn't order them because they're always slimy and I don't buy spoiled food to eat! I was surprised this was the substitution the shopper chose so was hopeful that they were looking at fresh ones. Nope. Disgusting.
