I ordered this and several other items for home delivery, paid for it through the app with a tip for the driver. I just wish that the people who picked out my groceries would only pick out the ones they would buy for themselves or their families. This organic head of lettuce was not the best but needs to be used quickly. I’ve also ordered canned goods in the past and have received severely damaged or dented cans. It’s a shame. I ordered groceries, paid for them, leave a good tip and get damaged goods. I wish they’d be more courteous.
Would recommend, however the quality of the product that you get at delivery is not consistent. The product may arrive in pristene condition, or may have seen better days. It depends on the care of the shopper who selects your items, and how it is transported. It can be disheartening at times, if you can't shop for yourself.
THe lettuce on a whole tastes better. However there is way too much brown. The brown starts from core and goes up inside of lettuce. THe produce at walmart is a hit and miss. More old produce that should be pulled from shelf. Publix and whole foods has fresher produce however those options are not in this area
The outer half of the lettuce head was slimy rotten. I had to peel about half of the lettuce away an throw into garbage before I got to usable crisp lettuce. The produce from my selected store has had a lot of rotten produce I have filed for refund or just tossed into garbage. Either the order puller or produce manager or BOTH are not checking quality at all!
Again, better to pick out your own vs pick up or delivery or go elsewhere. one of the last heads ordered for delivery was not good at all.. threw over half away due to already changing color and spoilage. Pick your own. Usually better sekection elsewhere.
I bought one and it was great. Nice big firm crisp head of lettuce that made me remember how nice iceberg lettuce can be. So I bought another. This one was small and very loose. Not worth the cost. Next time I'll either buy in-store or be prepared to do an immediate return if I get another below par head.
This was a tiny little head of iceberg lettuce….much smaller than expected. And when I removed it from the packaging the same day it was delivered, over half of it was brown and spotted and unusable. So I ended up with way less lettuce than I ordered.
They didn’t have my original lettuce order so they replaced it with this organic lettuce. Twice the price and the lettuce head barely filled the palm of my hand! What a rip off! I should be reimbursed for my original price! It’s not even enough for one salad…😟
I paid extra to get an organic lettuce and it was totally rotten all brown on the outside and not just a little brown it was rotten I was so disappointed. I was having it for dinner tonight. No I have to call customer service and see if I can get a refund..
Very disappointed that regular iceberg was not available for pick up for/delivery. So I opted for the organic. I was absolutely in shock when the head of lettuce was smaller than the palm of my hand. I certainly hope this was by the pound and not per item otherwise I’m gonna have to drive back up to the store and return it. I’m not paying over two dollars for a teeny tiny head of lettuce
