I bought the Marketside Organic Fresh Spinach and Spring Mix with the purest of intentions: to become the kind of person who casually eats salads and says things like, “I just feel better when I eat clean.” And honestly… this mix makes it almost believable. First of all, the greens actually look like they were picked by someone who respects vegetables. No sad, soggy mystery leaves. No spinach that appears to have lived through a small war in the produce aisle. Just a respectable group of leafy overachievers ready to pretend they’re the reason you’re healthy. The flavor? Fresh, crisp, and just slightly fancy. It has that “I might start jogging tomorrow” energy. The spring mix adds just enough personality so it’s not like eating lawn clippings, while the spinach brings the reliable “I’m here for your iron levels” vibe. My only complaint is that every time I open the container, the greens judge me silently for the pizza sitting next to them in the fridge. Overall rating: 5/5 leaves 🥬 Healthy, fresh, and extremely supportive of the version of yourself that meant to eat better this week.
Usually this Market Fresh spring mix w/ Spinach is nice and dry Crisp but tender, colorful. The taste depends on the dryness and freshness. Several times it has been limp and lots of condensation inside container with slimy bits . I read reviews an others felt the same. It was most likely the packaging. I stopped buying it. I am back, hoping it was just a weather situation in harvest. Or a temporary packaging issue. I am going to try it again. I hope it will be better again! Sorry I had to tell the truth. Thank you.
I enjoying having this mixture available in one container. I mostly use this to make smoothies with along with other ingredients. The health benefits that comes with this mixture is exceptional. The mixture is always fresh and crisp and never any brown leaves in the container.
it is very hard to find this particular item fresh...i have bought over 10 of these and every time i struggle with expiration dates...it just is not a fresh product, not sure if its the packaging or what...i love salad and its not cheap either so throwing it away within 2 days of buying it is not ok
Most of the spring mix is mushy and rotten
My gosh! I spent more time picking through this salad then I should have. More than half of the salad was slimy and I looked at the date and expired one day after I received it which would be today.. I don’t understand how anyone would pick that out and send it to a customer. It was so obvious from looking at the package that it was no good. This is one of the only reasons why I don’t like doing orders online because I can’t look at the produce. I do appreciate Walmart refunding the money, at least, but come on shoppers… would you eat that? Would you actually serve that to your child/pet? If not, don’t put that in somebody’s order!
This used to be my favorite salad but the last few times I’ve gotten it it’s been soggy and slimey. Almost likes it’s been frozen and thawed. This last time I had to through the entire package out because it was all mushy and bad. Very disappointed. It’s only been 3 days since I bought it but for some reason it won’t let me apply for a refund.
As I were having my lunch I discovered There was a bug in this spring mix and I had already been eating it. I've been throwing up and diarrhea all night and my throat is swollen. I have pictures and packaging put up to show attorney if I must. The packaging clearly says washed and ready to eat!
At first, the salad mix look good till I opened it up and pulled out some for a salad realizing that there was slimy stuff about halfway down that did it for my appetite. I know this is not Walmart’s fault its whoever they got it from. I can imagine how many people must buy this product get it home and not even realize it till a couple days later when they go to use it and They’re not gonna complain. They’re not gonna take it back. I think I’ll go back to the head lettuce .
First of all, even though it was in date, there was spoiled greens in this. Second, and most important, was there was hardly ANY spinach in this. I have tried this twice now and there was maybe 10 spinach leaves TOTAL between the both of them. Very disappointed.
