Grabbed these for a last-minute outdoor get together. Popped them in the oven and served them- they were a big hit. The butter that melt over top added threat extra yum. Would be good for a quick family dinner on those busy nights everyone is running around.
I usually make us sandwich sliders often. With the price of meat, cheese, and slider buns going up, I thought why not give this a try. Comes with butter patties you can spread over the top of the buns. This is a simple, easy meal. Take lid off, place aluminum foil on top and pop in the oven. Take out, spread butter, cool, cut and eat. There is a ton of meat on these and decent amount of cheese. The butter patties are very good too, with various seasonings. Wish there were more varieties than just the 2 sliders offered, ham/cheese and Italian. I am very picky eater, I have texture issues. If I can find anything wrong with something, I will. Especially lunch meats. IYKYK! I found these to be a very safe food for myself. I made sure I made them exactly per package instructions.
Okay, I bet I know what you're thinking, these are easy to make yourselves. Which is true, but it's a lot higher to buy the ingredients instead of this tray that is already prepared. They're always fresh and easy to make. These come in handy when I have a lot of work to do and need a quick dinner. Can't beat the quality and price of these sandwich trays.
Great option if you're short on time! However, it's definitely cheaper to buy the items separately and assemble the sliders yourself. I use one 16 oz pack of GV (Great Value) sandwich meat of our choice, one 8 oz pack of GV deli-sliced cheese, and one 12 oz (12-count) pack of GV Hawaiian rolls. Slice the rolls in half, layer the cheese and meat, then brush the tops with melted butter. I like to sprinkle GV poppy seeds on top before baking at 325°F for 15–20 minutes. Delicious!
These Marketside Ready to Bake Ham %26 Cheese Sliders are delicious. Great for quick lunchtime sandwiches or snacks. I baked these in the oven as directed and my brother and I ate 3 each, then refrigerated the rest. We just heated the leftover sandwiches in the microwave the next day. We both liked the taste of these little ready-to-eat sandwiches.
I've purchased these twice thus far. I enjoy the sliders for a good snack and meal with sides. I've thought about making these as well, but I added the costs for the ingredients came out to be more than what these costs. The ham would cost the same as this alone to use double pieces on each roll. I recommended these and will purchase again.
Took a chance at the last minute to buy these as an additional appetizer for some friends coming over. I'm so happy I did because these are delicious! They were packed with ham and cheese and includes a couple of pats of garlic butter with honey to spread all over the top once heated. Everyone loved them and it saved me a lot of time to have these sliders pre-made! I want to try the Italian sliders next.
the sliders are a great price and I love the spread that they put on top however since these are cold the spread isn't really spreadable. the butter spread always ends up melting in the spot that it was put so it doesn't get on all of these sliders and really soaks a few. it would be better if they put it on the side in a small container rather than on top. other than that these are great. would serve at a party, but I like to eat them for lunch or dinner. great fast meal.
These sliders are super convenient and surprisingly delicious! The ham and cheese combo is classic, and the buns bake up soft and golden. Great for a quick dinner, party snack, or game day treat. I do wish there was a little more filling in each sandwich, but overall they're a solid choice—quick, easy, and satisfying!
I have bought this several times in the past, and they were pretty good, the last 2 were the worst and I will not buy again. At first they were good, fresh rolls, ham evenly spread out, cheese slices also evenly spread and fresh. Would devide them up and package in zip lack bags for separate lunches etc. However, the last 2 horrible! Ham was just mounded in middle, and the Swiss cheese was so dry and had this funky murky slight green hue to it, on half of the rolls. I called to complain, to the store as I had it delivered, and took it straight to soap and sandwich Bible study night. They said bring it back for a refund!! Couple months later I order another for home, ham plopped in the middle, this time it was so dry, and very little amount, the cheese was ok this time, just not much of it! Just reminded me of growing up sometimes, when Mom was running low on supplies in fridge and she "had to make things stretch". So DO NOT BUY THIS!!
