I received the Marketside Ready to Heat BBQ Beef Brisket Burnt Ends as a substitution for what I originally ordered. This was truly a pleasant surprise. They were perfectly seasoned and the BBQ sauce was on point, not to mention ton how tender they were. I paired this with mashed potatoes and it was a quick, easy, and delicious meal for 2 people. I definitely recommend this
Great buy These definitely have a almost home cooked taste . They come with nice LG bite sized morsals that are easy to cook in your microwave . I recommend them and I'm a rancher that's used to good beef . Awesome lunch if you don't have time to cook a brisket .
I took a chance buying this because if your husband is like mine, it won't taste good unless he spent hours tending grill/smoker. We made BBQ sandwiches with baked beans and cheesy mac. The burnt ends have great flavor! I gave the texture a 4 only because my husband thought some of the pieces were too big for a sandwich. They make for a super quick dinner for 2! Use as an entree, on a sandwich, or even on a loaded baked potato. I will buy again.
Contrary to some other reviewers, no bone or gristle, not tough or dry. I just warmed it to about 120 deg in microwave . If you over heat any meat, it will be dry and tough. Chief complaint, gone too soon. Seriously, I think it could sell for a good bit less. Then, I could afford to buy more.
This is really good for just a quick sandwich and has a rich, smoky/tangy BBQ sauce. Nice chunks of lean beef but not really true "burnt ends". Price is pretty good too since BBQ places around me are now charging $11 - $15 for a brisket sandwich with no side orders included.
This item is so good! Put it in the microwave for the right time and you will be very happy. The taste is absolutely mouth watering. You won't and can't go wrong. You can eat this item all day long. it is very tasty, soft, and the sauce on it you can't get enough of. Stock up on it!
I had high hopes for this product based on its reviews. I mean bbq burnt ends already prepared, what could be better? Turns out my whole family wound up ill after we had ingested a tiny amount. Turns out it was expired, but aside from that? It was ALL FAT. Inedible actually. Perhaps my location is the issue but from my experience? I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND. Really disappointed:(
I ordered this for the first time in a grocery delivery a little more than a week ago and when it got here, I put it in the fridge along with some of the other things. Well, I got it out to go with dinner earlier today and just happened to notice that it expired in January 2025! I mean it's only been expired for 10 months, that's all lol...
This is the worst excuse for brisket/burnt ends that I have ever had the misfortune of putting into my mouth. It is so rubbery and full of fat and gristle that it is hard to tell what type of mystery meat it even is. Not to mention the surgery jelly of a “barbecue sauce” that I can only imagine is supposed to mask this issue but only manages to add to the disgust factor.
To Marketside: I have been enjoying this product until today. It was gathered in a lump and sealed...not flat. It was all gristle and chewy with overly large pieces. And you added heavy spice. My mouth burned for about an hour. Tasted and looked like it was supposed to be thrown-out bits. Shame on you for changing what was a really good product. You suggested that I return it. I don't go to stores. Everything is delivered and I'm not mailing it to you. Threw it out.
