Some people think it’s crazy to buy precut packaged fruit. I’m a 1 person household and when I buy fresh fruits, it sometimes goes to waste. I have trouble cutting the fresh fruits. This fruit is as fresh as if I had purchased a whole one I have to cut. I will always buy my fruit like this
I love this produce BUT, THE SHOPPER WHO PICKED MY ORDER DIDN'T CHOOSE FRESHNESS IN USEABLE DATE. IT WAS DATED TODAY/ THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED! ALSO TODAY, I ORDERED TWO BAKING POTATOES, THEY HAD BAD SPOTS IN THEM, APPARENTLY OLD OR OUTDATED I AM ELDERLY AND LVE ALONE, SO I CAN'T USE UP BEFORE DATE EXPIRES. MY ORDERED BEFORE THIS ONE, I ORDERED BANANAS, AND DID NOT GET THEM, BUT WAS CHARGED FOR THEM. I DO NOT WANT ANY REFUND OR REPLACEMENT, JUST WANT TO MAKE THE SHOPPERS AWARE OF USEABLE DATES. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT, JUST LIKE WALMART COMLETES MY ORDERS. MY DELIVERY MAN WAS GREAT TOO! THANK YOU FOR PERMITTING ME TO SHARE! I DO NOT HAVE A CELL PHONE, CAN'T SEND PICS!
I love this cantaloupe. Sometimes the cubes are actually cheaper than the whole cantaloupe and since I don't like cleaning and cutting the cantaloupe, these packets are perfect. I have one for breakfast twice a week. They've always been fresh and solved and delicious.
This was such a delightful surprise! We love pulling chilled, pre-cut fruit out of the fridge as an alternative to less healthy snacks. We bought two 16-oz pkgs of this good-looking cantaloupe to try but weren't counting on it being good. Unexpectedly, each one, eaten 6 days apart, was terrific. Both the fresh one and the one 6 days later were crisp, juicy and flavorful, every bite. We're now addicted and buy these every week. We share a package a day, each of us spearing chunks one at a time with a wooden toothpick, right from the package. Healthy to boot! We plan our food requirements over three regular meals and just eat either this cantaloupe or the watermelon as a welcome treat, getting our two daily servings of fruit each along the way. Truly good and worth every penny.
It would be so nice to get one of these and they would be ripe or not rotten. Walmart, you've got many people working for you. Please have them check the packaged fruits and veggies. It's our dollar that stops buying your rotten products. Thank you.
This seems to be a role of the dice by produce that's ready cut at Walmart as it depends on the shopper, time of delivery, and of course who I'm going to get my service from. If I don't get something within the window of time that is fresh or ripe or edible as to whether I can eat this produce, which I choose to get the diced onions, Maripoiex melons, salad kit, etc., and expiration is often an issue as well as freshness!
Your driver, poorly trained to protect your profit margin, brought me canteloupe that was set to expire in 5 hours. enjoy that $5, its the last dime you'll ever get on produce from me. Hello Kroger!!!! 100% fail, No one will ever read this anyway. failure-complete. I feel sorry for Sam.
Ordered groceries on Friday, June 13, 2025. The cantaloupe expiration is June 10, 2025. There are white specs of mold all over the cantaloupe… I would have got a refund however I was at work when the groceries were delivered on Friday… I went to grab them this morning to eat them and seen mold all over them
I placed a curbside order on July 15th to be picked up July 16th. This package has an expiration date of July 19th. Let me tell you this precut cantaloupe was really, really, really awful. I wished it 2 to 3 times and the fruit has a catbonated taste to it. Dont ever buy precut fruit from Walmart because you will really be disappointed. This isnt the first time that has happened to me. A while back I got some precut watermelon and it tasted like it was spoiled. It was highly disappointed.
This is the second time I have bought this cantaloupe, and it has been the same experience both times. It is not ripe, it is kind of hard. I could probably deal with that but it tastes awful! It’s not spoiled. It’s like it’s soaked in vinegar or something before they put it in the package. It tastes very sour and acidic? I couldn’t even get past the first bite.
