I bought the smaller container because I didn't know how flavorful fresh mango could be when bought in Colorado in December. But I'm pleasantly surprised! It's delicious and so convenient getting it in large slices, ready to eat. Next trip I'll buy the 16 oz container. Nice change from the usual apples, bananas, %26 oranges in winter.
This is delicious mango, it may not be 100% ripe all the time but it is still taste good. We order it all the time for our after dinner treats or just in the middle of the day snack.
This a good quality product. Every time I have purchased with Marketside the fruit has been perfectly ripe and delicious. Their mangos are a well balanced combination of sweet and tangy.
Some folks will probably like this as they are hard and crunchy. This is my first time buying this item, and I expected the mangoes to be more ripened . This is my first time buying this item, and I expected the mangoes to be more soft. Also the taste was very bland.
This is the second time I bought this item, the first time I would have given 3.5 stars, it wasn't as sweet as I like it but it was ripe. This last purchase was not ripe, not sweet and hard. To be honest, it should not have been sold at all. Please do better I like mango and even though it isn't summer, if you're going to sell it make sure it's ripe and eatable. I threw it away, if I had tried to eat before today I would have returned it.
When I first started getting the mango spears they were very good. Then they started coming unripe. To the point that they were white instead of yellow. Not the color you want your mango to be! Ordered a few more times and the last one couldn’t be eaten. I don’t like to waste food or just throw away money. I haven’t ordered since. My avocado’s were rotten on the inside again! No more ordering for me.
While some fruits may be picked green and ripened in a paper bag, peeled mango is not one of them. Mango will not ripen and become soft and sweet when it is harvested, peeled, sliced and packaged for fresh eating convenience. These are still green, hard and inedible!
Not ripe! Not even remotely close. That wasn't very good, especially for the price. You think that you're getting a nice treat, but it is a brutal, bitter reminder that life sucks...
who picked unripe mangos to slice? how long am I supposed to wait for this to ripen? this happens every time I order sliced fruit. I'm done with ordering this stuff.
I ordered the cut fruit, mango and watermelon, both of which were inedible. the watermelon was spoiled and the mango was green and hard as a rock, you could see that the watermelon was not good right away! your shoppers need to be aware of what they're picking out and sending to the customer!
