I really enjoyed the rosemary olive oil loaf purchased at Walmart. It has a very slight herb taste which is a nice change and I have used it for toast with just a piece of bread with soft cream cheese and tonight I'm going to use it in an onion soup.
I'm very happy with the rosemary olive oil loaf. You bake it at home for that hot fresh perfection. The outside is crisp and the inside is soft and fluffy. I use bettergoods garlic , Parmesan, and basil butter on top and it's as if I'm at a restaurant! Delicious! Could also slice the bread and dip into olive oil.
This little loaf is tasty. Has a very nice crust on it. Just don't put it in the refrigerator eat it up. Can either make three very nice sandwiches or cut up in smaller pieces for toast in the morning with some nice fresh butter and eggs. I just wish they could keep it in stock a little better along with the also very good regular little loaf of just sourdough bread. Keep it coming. 😁
When I baked the bread it was soft on the inside with a slightly crunchy outside (but still very easy to chew). The rosemary flavor is light, not too strong. I put it in the oven at 350 for about 10 minutes the first time I bought it and 15 minutes the second time. I checked it every few minutes near the end. You can leave it in longer if you want it browner on the outside but keep checking it. When I cut into it, it was nice and hot, so be careful when you first take it out of the oven. It is delicious and I will keep buying it. It was like eating freshly baked bread (without all the work!), yummy!!!
When you need a quick home-made-adjacent tasty bread this will do the trick. Crunch on the outside, chewy but soft on the inside and a lovely light rosemary flavor. Toasted with a swipe of garlic butter and sprinkle of Parmesan cheese it was the perfect side to a dinner salad (or pasta). Could be used so many ways!
This bread is good as is but I always gotta do extra. 😁 I cut extra slits on the top before baking, then add olive oil and/or butter, Zaatar, garlic powder, and everything bagel seasonings. Good lawd it's so yummy. I love it hot out of the oven and making caprese and prosciutto sandwiches with it. The possibilities are endless.
I have been craving Macaroni Grill's Rosemary bread for YEARS!! All of the MG restaurants closed in my area. When i saw this for sale, i had to try it. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this product. While not exactly the same, it had such nostalgia flavor that it met my craving head on!! i made some olive oil dip with flaky salt, fresh ground pepper, a little everything bagel seasoning. Oh. my!! This hit all the spots for me!! I will definitely be buying this again. I wish they sold these in round loaves so I could stuff it with spinach dip!!!
This bread is sooooo delicious, as long as you get a fresh one!! However the quality score is so inconsistent depending on what you get. Even if you eat before the best by date, sometimes it's more stale tasting and that lowers the quality a lot. if you get a super fresh one, these are the bomb!
The bread itself was pretty good, but I only ordered it because of the rosemary and I feel at least with my taste buds, there was hardly any of that flavor. The texture and size and pricing was okay, so if you're looking for a convenient way to get a good bread home, you may like it. I did overcook it, my fault, so the crust was pretty hard, but if you watch your timing it will turn out ok.
I was expecting dough that you bake at home as the instructions say. However, the bread is already done. I don't know why it suggest you bake for 6-8 minutes like it's going to do something. It's already brown and done. Putting in the oven just merely warms the bread. You probably can eat it right out the package. I wouldn't though because the way food is processed these days you better follow the instructions before you end up in the hospital for some wicked reason. But for $3 I thought maybe it was going to double in size to a regular size loaf, but no, it didn't. It's just to warm it.
