This is one of my favorite salads. I "kick it up a notch" by adding grape tomatoes, extra cheese and Wholly Avocado smashed avocado — not guacamole — all from Walmart. It's a yummy meal! And so convenient! Avocado toast with some of the smashed avocado is a nice accompaniment.
First time ever buying a pre-made salad. Expectations were low. Price got my attention. So many mix in ingredients. Tasty salad dressing. Fresh crunchy chunks of iceberg lettuce. Packaging was excellent which included a very sturdy fork and a sealed cup of dressing. In the end, I enjoyed a balanced salad with enough tasty toppings and dressing to flavor the entire bowl. The price.......excellent value .......buy two because you will want another the next day. Enjoy!
I use my own dressing because the dressing that comes with it, though I expect a kick, it's actually kind of sweet (?) and doesn't go with the salad, in my opinion. I would love to have a little spice in it and no sweetness. Just be prepared to have to add something to the dressing or use your own. Otherwise, this is my favorite. I suggest you try to find the bigger one, though. I get the small one because I need to lose a few pounds.
This is one of my favourite salads that they make. It is the perfect portion and I love to be able to grab these as they come with a fork and everything I need. We love taking them out on the boat or grabbing them for lunches for work. And even bigger bonus when I can find them on sale.
Love these little salad bowls. Great for a quick snack or as a meal. I sometimes add a little more lettuce to make it go further. Everything you need is in the bowl, even a fork. Comes with chicken! Like that it has a protein added. These salad bowls comes in a variety of different types: chef, cobb, santa fe, caesar, spinach, cranberry walnut. ALL very tasty. Lots of toppings. It would be a lot of work and expense to gather all the extras for a small salad. Reasonable price.
not that great. if there was chicken in it, it must have been invisible. nothing more than some lettuce and few chips, dressing and I think cheese. not as good as he other salads that I've had before. I didn't realize that this was Southwest that I ordered.
We were sold a salad through the order -pick up area that would expire in two days. I like to get my salad so that they expire in like a week or more. It would be great if the person doing the personal shopping would check the dates on the Santa Fe salads and get one for the person that doesn't expire for a while instead of one that will expire in two days after buying it. It is what people want.
This is not on the product because I buy them all the time. This review is on the online order and the shopper. When I got home after picking up my order, I saw that the salad was already ruined. I bought two and the other one was still good. The package is clear, and you can visibly see that the item had gone bad.
I am disabled so i order on the app for delivery. i received this salad on June 10th, expiration/best by date 6/8 (picture attached). Lettuce is rotten, so in the garbage it goes!! If I request a refund/return on the appp I'm asked to bring that item to the store. If i were able to drive i would be shopping in person, not for delivery! i don't get a refund because i can't bring the item to the store to return it. I'm on a fixed income and can't afford for this to keep happening. Something needs to be done about this for those of us who are disabled and can not shop for ourselves. I pay for Walmart and expect better than this. Between receiving expired and rotten fruit and almost always having items missing, I'm looking into just paying the extra and shopping online at one of the grocery stores. DO BETTER Walmart!!!!
I ordered 10 ready to go salads pick them up on the 24th and they were all expiring on the 25th turning brown and I had to throw them away. I do online grocery pickup and I would appreciate it if the people who were picking up the groceries will check the expiration date I can't eat 10 salads in one day. the salads are normally delicious and I don't have a problem with them as long as they're not expiring within a day.
