Marketside Seasoned Lamb Leg, 1.25 - 3.40 lb

Now this was a shocker !! Of the fantastic kind ! I bought this for the first time to check it out - loving lamb as I do. Froze, then defrosted it a day in the frig. First thing I noticed when I opened the package is how wonderful it smelled. No strange odor etc. The seasoning it has been marinating in makes ALL the difference in smell, texture and taste. The meat was tender, fragranced and cooked beautifully. It cut like butter when done. I dont think I will ever buy another large piece and do all the work myself when it is absolutely perfectly seasoned and tender with Marketside's leg. So you know, this WILL serve 4 people VERY large portions (its ALOT when cut in one inch chunks) or 8 people normal sized portions. If this is for you only, this leg will give you a week of meals. Cut it in chunks, leave it whole, slice it in thin slices then stew, bake, fry, deep fry, air fry. It all works and its a bargain !

This lamb is excellent. It comes nice and fresh in an air sealed bag and it's seasoned wonderfully. I have so far cooked this product two different ways one in the slow cooker which came out very nice just fell apart and the other way was in the oven the oven is a little more difficult you have to be very careful not to burn the lamb but you still want the inside pink. The next thing I'm going to try is on the barbecue. I will say the quality of the meat is very the meat was not at all damaged due to being frozen so this appears to be a fresh product. this land with some sides should definitely frrd a family of four.

This makes the easiest gyro meat. And it is simple, as it is already seasoned and prepared. Just cook it according to the directions and slice it thinly when done. Serve it on pitas with tzatziki, onions, tomatoes, feta... An easy meal idea that has been a great addition to our meal rotation. The only complaint is they do not have these all the time.

We have been buying this for a couple years now for Thanksgiving Christmas and just family dinners and all of us love the quality and flavor. Love it! Very tender also!

we roasted this in our oven. 450 F for 20 minutes. Then turn it down to 375 F for about 45 minutes. Lamb should be medium rare to keep it tender. Great lamb flavor and perfect seasoning.

Will buy this again. Maybe trim some more fat down. i like to sear after it's baked on my griddle. Good quality %26 not salted to death. Pricevis is not too overpriced.

Inconsistent size, fattiness, and seasoning per package, but it's amazing half the time: tender and surprisingly mild without much grease or gristle. A quarter of the time it's fine, another quarter I wind up reusing for stew because it's so tough or overseasoned. I've bought this several times, and the gamble is worth it as long as I have a backup option in case this isn't good.

The seasoning was good, the meat was tender; but that was b/c there was a LOT of fat in the cut. Too much fat. For the price, at least half of the fat should have been trimmed off.

I overcooked it a little for my taste but it was delicious. I cooked it but a friend brought home a hot hero for me for dinner so I ate it the next day after being refrigerated and it was still delicious
