The food is amazing but everytime I order it I order 2 because one package always comes bloated. It's like they give you the 1 that was left out on a random shelf and spoiled then put back in the refrigerator shelf. Don't order fresh meat unless you're cooking it that day. It always has a sale by date of the day u get it.
I wanted something different this popped up on the website while looking through other marketside items gave it a shot. Teriyaki flavor was really good I popped in the air fryer@ 400 for 12 minutes flipped it halfway came out perfect taste was really good highly recommend it will definitely get it again.
I was able to cook this using my air fryer so easily. The aroma it exuded while it was cooking was heavenly! I loved it. Definitely recommend and would purchase again. One bag, is like 1-2 servings, in my opinion. If there are 2 of you and you like a little bigger portions, you may wanna buy 2 of these.
These chicken thighs are a great value for the money for 2 or 3 people. They have a good flavor of teriyaki and are good when in a rush to get dinner made. I throw them in the freezer until I am ready to use. If you have some cornstarch and sugar handy, they can be especially good. The sauce is watery and tends to be a little vinegary, I remedy that by adding a teaspoon or two of cornstarch to thicken the sauce, plus a teaspoon or two of sugar that tempers the acidity. I also add some freshly chopped green onions for color and added flavor. I serve the thighs (and sauce) over a bed of white rice, and sometimes garnish with some sesame seeds, and cooking in toasted sesame oil adds to authentic Asian flavor. They can be a little tough if overcooked, so watch closely for doneness.
I like that it was preseasoned. I might have enjoyed it except I was too worried it might not be safe to eat as the package was puffed to the max. The use by date was good. so I Googled if it might be okay since the plastic was bubbled out so far. It said it was and said how to tell if it was bad. I think it was safe and it had a good flavor. I just was stressed because I wasn't positive. I didn't get sick. won't buy it curb service again because I would never have bought it if I saw the expanding package and you get what someone else picks. I was more concerned about not tasting bad meat than actually enjoying what it might be. My paranoia.
I sauteed diced onions, sliced zucchini and snow peas and set them aside. I then cut up the chicken into strips and sauteed it, as well. Later, I added 1 cooked packet of Chicken flavored Ramen noodles (done with 1 cup of water,) and stirred it all together. It was quite tasty. In the future, I might just season plain chicken myself, as I like to cook, but having the teriyaki seasoning already on the chicken would be helpful for busy folks. It was good and fairly easy to prepare.
I have bought this chicken before in the black plastic and it was so good but then I bought the same kinda in a vacuum sealed plastic a d it was not good at all I'm not sure if it was just bad or what but I will not be getting it unless it is the black plastic container
This was my second purchase of this product. The meat was tender, but the flavor left a lot to be desired. The product was easy and quick to prepare. The package seemed like it was missing 1/4 - 1/3 of the amount of meat that should have been in it. The last time I purchased it there was more product in the package. The package weight is labeled the same.
They were super tiny pieces first off %26 when I think Teriyaki, I think of a tangy sweetness. This was not that! It tasted very weird to us with a flavor I can't compare to anything. It was not a pleasant flavor to us. Wish this could have been better.
Followed instructions for top of stove pan preparation, bad idea. Thighs were deboned, but not evenly. There were very think and very thin pieces which did not allow for even cooking. Oven preparation would have allowed more even cooking. Chicken was dry, tough and I threw it out. Very disappointing.
