Great deal, if you love salmon. You can get 6 hefty filets, which comes to roughly $4.00/serving. Would you pay that much for salmon in a restaurant?...I think not. Plus, you get to cook it the way you like it. Restaurants are known to overcook their salmon. Highly recommend.

The fresh Salmon Walmart sells one always found to be pretty good but PLEASE don’t ever buy their Great Value frozen Salmon because this is how it looks and it doesn’t even have a texture like real salmon it’s mushy and squeezed it pours out water. I had to throw the whole bag away.

Our family has been purchasing these for years now from Walmart. In fact, we buy one every week as it is very healthy for you and it’s very easy to prepare. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes (use meat thermometer = min 165° baked) with olive oil %26 garlic salt i= delicious. I’ve never had a problem with the quality.

Solid selection if you like smoking salmon. I've ordered this multiple times and each time, I have dialed it in to get to the taste that I really enjoy. It's very nice having consistency in this product delivered time and again. Very minor note: every now and again a bone is still in the salmon, this is a tiny issue - but be careful if you are serving others.

YU-UM! TRY THE SEASONING "THE USUAL". OR FIRE AND SMOKE PRIME. NEAR THE END OF BAKING, ADD A THICK LAYER OF CHOPPED FRESH CHIVES IN OLIVE OIL. LAWRYS GARLIC PEPPER IS YUM TOO. THE CHIVES REALLY GIVE IT A BOOST. OH! ALSO TAJIN! IT DOESNT TAKE MUCH OF THAT ! WHY IS IT PRONOUNCED samon BUT HAS AN "L" IN IT? ANYWAY, IVE NEVER HAD A BAD PIECE OF THIS FROM WM. FREEZES WELL TOO. ENJOY! OH YA, I USE A REALLY SHARP LONG BLADE, LAY SKIN DOWN AND FILET IT OFF. BAKING ON PARCHMENT ALWAYS. SPRAY OIL RUB OIL DOWN UNDER THE SLAB.

When I started buying this salmon at Walmart it used to be wild caught. It is not anymore according to the label and you can tell the difference on the texture. Even my children tell me how it’s slimy and full of fat now. You can tell it is a fish that’s been raised in a tank with limited or no swimming space. They made a healthy meal feel very unhealthy. The difference in the quality is too much. I hope they go back to selling quality salmon.

I bought this fish before and it did not have a smell , air-fryed in foil out of freezer was tender. just received two , had it delivered. Went to cut up pieces, and the shrink wrap was loose. Had some smell to the fish. Wish i went to the store to purchase these myself. Will cook up some tonight. will make sure i leave pictures and notes on this for family. so if i don't survive, the family will know what i got sick on. I will go next time myself

couldn't eat. The day I bought it, I opened the package and the meat was spoiled. Smell was horrible. I should've bagged it up and went back to get my money back, but the smell was horrible. The meat wasn't expired by date but definitely spoiled.

I ordered this product online for pickup and received expired salmon. It was packaged with another container of salmon on top, so I could not see the expiration date until I was ready to use it.

package arrived literally Open and damaged. how do the store allow the item to leave the store this way? The entire salmon slid out of the package which the seal was broken and tore all the way through!! I am filing a complaint regarding this it's unsafe, unsanitary, and and unethical to send customers SEAFOOD ITEMS IN SUCH CONDITION!!
