We cooked this on med heat in a skillet. Added a bit of olive oil, a few sprigs of rosemary from the yard and a a sliced lemon from the neighbor's tree. Then add salt n pepper. Cook on both sides 3-4 mins each. Great warm or cold
I have purchased this salmon a number of times and I’ve always been satisfied with the product. I’ve found a couple of bones in a couple of batches, but other than that no issues. It is pricey, but it feels more fresh than the frozen salmon and has a nice texture and flavor.
The salmon was ready to rinse off with water, dry off a little with a paper towel, season and it for baking. I seasoned it with Old Bay Seasoning. And baked it for a while and I checked to make sure it was done. It was delicious! I served it with rice and string beans.
This is usually top quality salmon. Unfortunately, the last 2 packages I got were bad. They were still within their expiration date but were slimy and smelled sour. I buy them every time I shop for groceries and this is the only time this has happened. There's no way Walmart could have known. I would still recommend them.
Salmon fillet not half bad. Just not what I ordered. Substitution was made by spark driver. Not approved by me. Was supposed to receive two packs of salmon but only received one. This is not the first time this has happened. Is very disheartening to know that the delivery drivers are stealing items from the orders. I know I’m not the first. When I complained to the store, I was told by management. This is a continuing problem. So glad that I was able to get a refund with no problem from 800 Walmart customer service.
Gross it doesn’t even look like Fish. It is incredibly disgusting. I’ve bought it several times before and I’ve had to throw it away. I had hoped that it was a fluke, but it’s every time you guys really shouldn’t be selling this product. It’s really nasty. The texture and I love salmon. I know it’s salmon. Looks like what it smells like and what it tastes like and that is not this.
Was dated Good Thru April 3, opened on Mar 31 and it stank so bad. One fillet smelled completely neutral after rinsing but the second was rotten, it started to disintegrate and turned to mush. Am I supposed to keep this rotting fish and return it as proof?
Was given salmon that was a month past expiration. For reference I ordered my groceries on 04/23/2026. Disgusting, clearly not keeping up with stock and doing proper clean outs.
I always immediately put my salmon in the freezer when i get home. Just took out this package for diner and cooked it. The salmon which we normally love from Walmart had absolutely NO FLAVOR. We only ate a few bites.
This fish smelled disgusting and was slimy. I attempted to use it before the use by date and when I opened it, it was like a slimy STINKY DEAD SNAIL. I will never purchase fish from here again.
