I received this as a substitution and was irritated because the price was much higher. I took a bite and immediately chastised myself for being so hasty. This bread is FANTASTIC. And knowing that it is as good as it is. Would willingly buy it myself on the regular.
I love this bread but Walmart is often out of it. Please increase your order!!! Makes great grilled cheese sandwiches.
Ever since I found this bread I can't get enough. Its flavor goes with every food pairing, even for French toast and cinnamon toast mmmm good! If you like jalapeño and cheese you will like this bread as much as I do. I kind of don't want to give such a good review because it will go fast and I won't get to buy some before it's sold out. If this review makes the sales of the bread increase, would you please order more to put on the shelves at our Payson Walmart? There's only one in our town so it can't get mixed up….yet. Thank you Walmart for having prices that seniors can deal with. It's a tough world,
Makes a great sandwich when toasted. I like that it doesn’t have added gums and artificial preservatives, which is why it may not have as long a shelf life as the commercial breads.
The cheddar cheese and jalapeno taste was delicious and the bread itself was very tasty. Please keep making this cuz I'm going to reorder it that's for sure.
This bread is super tasty. The jalapeno doesn't come through quite as much as I'd like, but it's detectable. A lot of jalapeno flavored things, that just can't be said of, so that's cool. This bread is, oddly, light and fluffy, while also having the denseness you'd expect from sourdough. (Yea, figure that one out! 🤣) All together it's delicious bread. BUT! It goes bad before I can use half of it every time! I'm the only one that eats it, cuz the other person here has somewhat of an allergy to spicy things, won't touch it with a 10 ft pole. I was hoping to make this my all the time usually bread, but I just don't go through bread fast enough, so it'll have to just be a treat I only get sometimes, I guess. 😢 Try it with ham and sauerkraut, that is so good when it's hot outside!
Not enough jalapeno taste, but it toasts well and tastes a little warm with the bits of jalapenos in it. Good texture.
What happened to the long loafs of cheddar and sliced jalapeño loafs the bakey would put out every morning? This is my first really bad review. Everything was off, the texture was terrible, it was dry in areas and sticky in others. It was sepetated where the dough was rolled up before baking. It was honestly terrible. I'm going to have to go back to making my own.
i had high hopes for this bread especially with cheese and jalapeños,,cheese was apparently in the food color because there was no discernable cheese flavor. as for jalapeños, there timy specs of green specs that i assume were jalepenoes. i know it wasn't mold because the bread was really fresh. does make a small grilled tuna sandwich in the air fryer. on the whole, at today's prices, this isn't something i would buy again
In all fairness, I did not order this bread, it was not my second choice either, I tried it just in case, I felt it tasted like their "Marketside Fresh Jalapeno Cheddar Bagels" which I do not care for. The bread was heavy, did not taste any sourdough, and the texture was not what I expect from a sourdough.
